Actually, in the Fot* podcast, they made it clear that it WAS Zaros's desire to rule. They were just ambiguous about how and what it is he's ruling (saying that he's only interested in governing life).

...Actually, now that I think about it, governing life as an elder god with Zaros's ideals would be interesting. Perhaps we may have our Yawgmoth after all.

But he is just saying what you want to hear. I think one of the more hidden points is he talks of how he doesn't seek revenge or that he will be tolerant of the other gods. But he basically ex-communicates sliske for something that was more of the players own decision if you didn't follow him. And he doesn't seem to believe that people just naturally don't want to follow him.

And your right he doesn't want to build an empire again, he wants to become an elder god.. Which is the next level of his ambition to grab power. You still haven't explained any better method of dealing with the Elders.


Sadly I wouldn't know :( we were told that Zaros is no way the only was to stop the grand revision. But they haven't really elaborated on that yet, and with the new content coming out being all Seren related and Zaros and Seren are pretty tight we won't be getting the other options for a while.

As bias as this sounds I genuinely don't think there could be any better way than Zaros's way.

-As a being of Divine origin they can understand him.

-If he ascends to elder godhood, they can't just ignore or kill him.

-He'll be speaking on behalf of mortals, not gripping them in a headlock demanding they say uncle.

I hope every younger god doesn't plan to copy Zaros's plans, it would just become a race to see who could ascend first.. and that would just be dull.

I can't think of any other ways, but I'm sure there could be an artifact of some kind that would allow for universal translation.... or something.

He does have a ton of content relating to him.

I saw that thread of you and As**** on the other forum, bitching about Zaros getting some content.

If Saradomin started getting content, and people complained, what would you do? Ah that's right, same as us, telling you to shut the **** up complaining.

I don't really think so.

The only significant piece of content after DoC was the Garlandia story, and that was really just a few lines.

The Terragard story wasn't even focused on Saradomin, just mentions him.

BOL showed him standing for 10 weeks. By this logic, we should also consider his appearance as a "false user" at the end of OoaK as content.

Sure, there are many quests that feature you helping his followers, but those are mainly 5th Age and don't necessarily have to do with Saradomin.

Going back to DoC, it really just features him at the beginning and end, so it's really not that significant.

Has he featured/related to more content than most gods?

Yes, probably.

Has this content been specifically about Saradomin in the manner of the Zaros Storyline?

Nope, never.

And let's not even get started about the shameless amount of abilities Zaros is getting.

Depended on who was talking if it was a guy saying Zaros didn't have content then probably yea i would lol. He doesn't have some content he has like a ton. But I don't see what saradomin has... Except the best rs song in game.

But if it was like Zamorakian, Armadyl, Bandos for sure. Maybe even Tumeken does anyone actually follow him?


Plus there were a majority of zarosians that even wanted more younger god content, and the only people that really disagree I mean they are people that literally respond to me on everything just to argue. The same guys that when I did post on the Betrayal of Zamorak they turned that whole thread into arguing that lenissa wasn't a real source of lore when lenissa's quote had little to do with the post.

Nope, never.

Yea I agree here. I don't see how he has a ton of content I mean all the fifth age stuff isn't really content and you never really see the followers again. Unless you count akirsae after he dies he tries to kill you as a wight. And Owen is revisited but we only had one quest on that. And it was more about owen and the player then saradomin. he lacks any central content.

If people complained and had right cause, then it would be a valid argument, regardless if we saradominist agreed or not. Things could get eventually heated leading to disingenuous retorts, but our main argument wouldn't be to "shut up".

The amount of abilities Sueros is getting is shameful.
