The WG is a dangerous sociopath with a long history of violence.
Friendship
1) Azzanadra - Because his post-quest dialogue keeps up to current affairs, he is practically the best friend for all Zarosian players.
2) Zanik - Her character development throughout her quest-series and growing relationship between her and the adventurer is far more fulfilling as a friendship than a simple romance, in my eyes.
Frenemy
1) Sliske - the dynamic between guys who could be friends but are trying to kill each other is so fun to see develop throughout the Sliske Quest-Series.

Sarah on Ashdale. I really love Ashdale, and happened to be in the process of making a new character backstory when it came out.. So I scrapped what I had and created a whole new backstory for my character surrounding Ashdale. I'm really happy with it. Anyway, Sarah's a childhood friend in my backstory, but my (possibly cliched) idea is that since my character's left home to become an adventurer, he's found himself thinking about her on occasion, missing her a little... Though he doesn't realize why yet. I imagine that my character might end up retiring from adventuring at some point, though, and return to Ashdale to live out the rest of his days in his home village amongst his friends and family. And that might involve eventually getting together with Sarah in the end.

EDIT: I do find it hard to see it as a purely romantic type of love, it'd rather be an impossibly strong bond and friendship that is also love.
I can see that... I would feel the same way

Have you read her Valentine's day postbag letter? I only found it yesterday, surprisingly. That's a nice look on a scenario where she does share the romantic feelings with us! Also a bit sad but understandable reason why we couldn't be together at that moment, right after the Chosen Commander.
In her current state though... I feel bad that she's just trapped there for a limited time and then she'll return to the underworld and get an afterlife of her own. She still hasn't adventured to her heart's content...
Do you think that's it? Her being there will never be addressed again because for some people she never returned? Not that addressing the issue would make her situation any better... The next time they touch her subject is that the obelisk no longer needs protection and she's gone forever, for good this time (or as gone she can be, seeing how she keeps coming back
bond that transcends even death).
