I'd prefer more simplistic outfits

It's hard to find an outfit that goes with Drakewing Legs in an orange colour that also fully covers the skin...
I want Ferna to have an orange colour to go with her Fire element style.
But to keep the Drakewing look I either have to have her wear the full drakewing set or wear pieces of clothing that don't show any skin. (Because it'll be regular skin and not Drakewing.)

And if I remove the Drakewing legs she won't have a tail either. (If Jagex would add the Drakewing Tail as a cape override I'd be able to experiment more.)

Fashions hard.

Though from what I can see what you're describing as "Shinies and trinkets" is actually only two parts of my outfit. The Drakewing Legs and Crystalline Wings.

Though that picture I have there is taken in a darker area which really shows the bloom effects.

most nonhuman ship-able characters will be a bit odd... zanik's short and green (and your kids might be hideous), zilyana's like twice your size, enakhra's fairly skeletal half the time... and so on

To throw my hate into the area of player X [whoever] that this thread's based on.... Well, off the top of my head, I always kinda pictured Linza being the lucky lady. Even after I married and summarily lost Astrid, even after getting close to Zanik in a platonic way and losing her, etc....

But after Kindred Spirits, the sheer RAGE at Sliske for making Linza a wight... Let's just say that he better prove useful or I'll start with his voicebox so he can't scream as I do countless, terrible things until he returns her to normal.

But if not, I'm down for some Korasi and Leela. And we do have gods know how many adoring fans all over by the point we're doing the Sixth Age stuff. And there was that one time me and Ozan got real drunk at the Blue Moon Inn after stealing something. Again.
