This thread is in desperate need of a bump.

So, what did everyone think of The Death of Chivalry? Aside from the combat being way too easy, I thought the quest was great: a variety of dialogue options, nods to the past, the right atmosphere (music and surroundings), and the characters had dynamic personalities.

I'm hoping the Myreque finale can beat it.

I won't lie, I actually felt sorry a bit for Sir Owen, and Saradomin pretty much guaranteed that I won't be throwing my lot in with him anytime soon if I can help it.

On the flipside, the music was flat out awesome. Very appropriate for the tone that the quests have been taking recently, and I hope they continue down that path in the future.

Now all they need to do is have a few bosses that actually use the EoC during their fights instead of just standing there resorting to random tricks like pushing us back with no consequences unless we get hit by a completely unrelated and avoidable attack. Because truth be told, the last few (quest) fights really haven't shown me anything that couldn't have been done in the old system, which is sorta disappointing :<

Still no Myreque planned for the future, sigh.


On a happier note, I've actually managed to trace down Mod Tytn. I'm considerating sending him a message, asking what he had in plans for the Myreque storyline, but on another side, I don't wanna bother him either.

If you use the 'Search Users' tool between 'Search Threads' and 'Code of Conduct', you can look at every post she has made on each thread she has posted on. I think it's been a while since she last posted here, but that's understandable given that she's been working on the latest skill.

It doesn't work to find her posts on this thread since it was moved to the lore forum. The last one is on page 73 if you're interested, waaaaaay back in May. I don't know where the others will be however I know some people have quote lists from this thread. I have one from the old thread buried in the smouldering remains of my old laptop, if it ever turns on.

Learning how they schedule quests could leave a few hints as to whats a priority. They may even drop a hint as to what Mod Marks favorite kind of bribery cake is. But I very much doubt that we will get Myreque 6 confirmed :(
