Was there confirmation or something that there's going to be a quest solely focused on the edicts? Because if there was, that would be really helpful in clearing things up.

That makes sense, but also brings up a new question. Did Drakan have to manually activate the detonation somehow, or was it the side effect of something like a geas or curse that was used during the vampyre creation process? Both possibilities might not bode well for us if the whole idea turns out to be somehow true imo o_o
