That's why those quests are being "looked into," not developed. So is Myreque. 'Looked into" means seeing if it's feasible to create a quest, based on player appreciation, time and resources spent, and other factors.
Never mind, I've seen the thread for it. Jagex seem pretty determined not to develop the Myreque series this year either way, but would I be right in saying that the Myreque have entered the Sixth Age anyway?

Also, the caption for the sequel option didn't list Myreque. Only Gnomes, Pirates, Elemental Workshop, Penguins or Desert. We could take this as a hopeful sign that Myreque was committed because they are already working on it :/
Zemouregals memory confirms Hallowvale was a 2nd Age city and that Drakan was promised it for his part in Zaros' overthrow. I feel rather silly now, and frustrated. Literally nothing else on the area is mentioned.
It still leaves us in a position of confusion. Were the Icyene in charge of Hallowvale at the time or not? If so, it would make the hints given by Vertida Safalatis and the Decaying Tomb (or whatever it's called) seem like red herrings.

It was Saradominist so probably. Though it's still unclear if Saradomin or Zaros arrived first and if the Mahjarrat joined Zaros before Saradomin came etc. Basically we need the Saradominist history of things.

I think it's more likely that Mod Osborne's idea of 2015 being the year of the Myreque is set in stone.
How many of us will still be here when it comes?
How many of us asked the same question 3 years ago?

Not exactly. He says "whole region of Hallowvale." The area might have been called that long before a city was formed. Although yes, it's really just a semantics issue.
Either way, we already knew Saradomin was around before and during Zaros' betrayal, and that he had a stronghold in the Morytania region before the God Wars. This is just further confirmation.
Iirc it was named after Queen Efarity Hallow, so that means it was under Icyenic control at the time, Ascertes was kidnapped then, Safalaan is 6000 years old, the whole shizzam. Ima go double check.
