The scouting mission was used by Zamorak to his advantage to bring down Zaros.

There is no evidence to suggest that he was preparing for war.
1. Seren is his sister. And they have a bond together, where they feel love for each other.

2. The elves attacked first, so Char, wanting to live, retaliated.

3. Zaros had no idea Seren was on Gielinor, and he sent the scouts because he thought she might be there.

Don't forget, there was also the part about them taking advantage to turn the discussion of war plans into an excuse to create an opportunity to bring down Zaros. Below's lines mention Zarosian invasion. [u][b]But even the best laid plans may go awry. Whatever my goddess's intentions, they were set aside when a great emptiness fell upon this world. It spread like a blight across the land - led by one who cared not to live in harmony with the world as we did, but sought to control all and bend it to its will. You're actually describing two different incidents here. The scouting mission was to find out what was going on with the elves. The war plans were against the Fremmeniks. Don't cross your lores.

It never said who they were planning to fight. Remember, at that time, Saradomin, Armadyl, and Bandos were the main enemies. He could have easily been planning to attack them.

Stop the Faction-bashing here. It's counter-productive, and I get tired of refuting you every time.

Not once did I see the words "Zarosian Invasion". And I already refuted this point. If you failed to notice it, back-track through this thread and I guarantee you'll find it.
