Gnomes
*What's going on with Glough and the monkeys? (I suggest your own take on Monkey Madness 2. Similar general idea of finishing off Glough's machinations.)

The original Monkey Madness actually had little to do with Glough himself, with the plot being orchestrated by his former underlings Waydar and Caranock. I feel like an RS3 Monkey Madness sequel should primarily focus on Marimbo's return, with Waydar and Caranock perhaps returning as villains (maybe teaming up with Hafuba and Uwogo?)

I feel like Glough himself should definitely appear in an Arposandra quest though, yeah. Especially given his speculated presence in The Eyes of Glouphrie...
You never were our brightest star, Khazard. 'Vermin slaughtered like lambs'? What does that even mean?

Guys.... come on... you are still listing quest lines that have offically finished and making this far more difficult than it has to be.

He has already said that the Myreque splinter group would be countinued into the 6th Age in its own questline.

He is looking for quest lines that HAVEN'T finished. Slug and Temple Knight questline has finished for the 5th Age. It sucked, but that was the end of the slug fest at least for the 5th Age. We don't need new questlines popping up in the 5th age.

Just because a questline has ended does not mean we will never have another questline for them and just isn't going to be in the 5th Age. Just look at the Elves and Mahjarrat.

He wants questlines that haven't finished that need be finished.

A Fifth Age Questline is a questline that started way before Guthix died. Before the gods returned. The questline is set for the 5th Age, but could possibly continue or finish in the sixth like the elf and dwarf quest. But it doesn't have to finish in the 5th age.
Come the Sixth-Age, the world will need the World Guardian.

Just a note; Temple Knight series hasn't finished, only the slug and Void subseries have. They've just been utterly neglected since RotM, with the exception of TDoC, which makes no sense since there have been serious threats around and thy should be focussing on Dragonkin now that Lucien, Grayzag, Mallum (even though SitW needs a rework) and Dellagar have been dealt with. Bizarre Boron Fusswell, scryer extraordinaire. OSRS: POH ideas & RS3 minigames & achievement ideas !

Perhaps you're half right; perhaps we can't win. But we can fight.

Mysteries of the Mahjarrat

While Guthix Sleeps.

Duradel.

Who was Duradel's mysterious 'master'? This has never been brought up again and it really, really bugs me.

From the wiki:
He was being kept in Shilo Village by an unknown higher authority, and required special permission from them–he seemed to communicate telepathically with them–to leave for his part in the battle against Lucien. He reveals that, apparently, he took several shortcuts and 'trod on very important toes', as he puts it, to become the greatest Slayer master

Hazlemere.

When are we going to learn to become the 'Guardian of the Spirit Trees', as he told us in Path of Glouphrie, as Hazlemere is now dead. (rip)

Crux Eqal, and the Guardians of Armadyl.

These organisations haven't really done anything of note since WGS. What has happened to them? Or more specifically, the Guardians of Armadyl, since Crux Eqal did make a small appearence in TWW.

Ritual of the Mahjarrat

A lot of things about Robert the Strong were brought up in this quest that were never resolved. We still have Robert's Necklace, as well as his notes to himself and us.

Other quest lines have mostly been brought up in this thread already, but there are some standalones too:

Olaf's Quest

When are we going to go after that cursed treasure?

Summer's End

How does the Weird old Man know about Jennica, when we show him her ring?

A souls bane

Even though we can sort of infer what happened to cause all that wierd stuff to happen based on knowledge of Loarnab, as well as the Asylum and Ruins of Senntisten nearby, this quest is begging for a follow up.

And of course, what happened to King Vallance?

Everything else, I think has been brought up already.
Quest Cape Best Cape

Or a rework. Really, I'd prefer to have one good quest over an awful prequel and a good sequel, as with the latter choice, you still have a bad quest, whereas with the former, you have one good quest that can do the job of two quests.

pl0x. I want something Loarnab related in that hole.

~~~~
Gnomes ~ are my biggest thing, with a 5th age Monkey Madness Sequel/Ape Atoll Conclusion *before* being introduced to a 6th Age Marimbo quest. Arposandra, etc. Everyone else basically covered all this stuff.
Pirates ~ (that old concept for Ninja Monkey's is something that I'm still curious about), and I think everyone else covered all the major stuff here.
Druid Circles ~ Story behind the Varrock circle post-Demon Slayer rework (Also, there's got to be more than 2 surface world circles.)
Temple Knights ~ Post-ROTM reaction quest would be nice (probably better for 6th age TBH). And like everyone else suggested, Prince Anlaf and Buthorpe storylines.
... I think that's it. Sorry about my poor organization skills here. :P
Druids' circles (yes I'm including it because, while horribly broken narratively, it still needs to be resolved)
- What is the nature of the purification ritual?
That's it really, but, er, Druidic Ritual might need some extra dialogue to once again serve as an introduction to the 'series', and of course Eadgar's Ruse needs a sequel.
I don't exactly consider the Druid's Circles to be a series, but rather a reoccurring motif throughout the Troll quests, especially with Druidic Ritual being folded into the Troll Warzone. The Demon Slayer rework removed the role of the Varrock stone circle, so if anything, I would say the issue here would be trying to reconcile Druidic Ritual with Demon Slayer.
I think it'd be better to reconcile Druidic Ritual with Eadgar's Ruse, since the latter still references the old quest, in some capacity. And then the 'series', rather what remains of it, needs to have a sequel, and it can probably be wrapped up in a single quest that also ties in Demon Slayer.
Am so glad your finally looking more at quests, there are some definate unfinished stories that could really do with an ending
Desert series
Yes you've just done a bunch of them but EVERYONE agrees the ending of phite quest was very lack luster and abrupt, it needs a conclusion
- What's amascut upto, what was she after in the tombs
- Finding scarabas
- The return of tumeken and/or elidnis
- Whats the deal with osman
- Whats jabari upto after he ran off
Pirate series
This is one people have been wanting for a long time, especially now that xau tak is coming into the lime light
- Who or what is xau tak
- Whats the deal with this underwater city
Gnome series
One of the main unfinished series still left in the game, people would love to see more of the story
- What was glophrie upto
- Whats with this underground gnome city
Kramajan series
How many people even remember this one. There was a quest where you contacted !the karamjan gods" but we've heard nothing of them ever since, dispite jagex saying the gods are still a thing in development
- Who are the karamjan gods
- Just expand the karamjan culture in general
Elemental Workshop
Yeah people got put off this after the last puzzle was slightly difficult but thats no reason to just abandon the series forever more, theres lots of unanswered questions that could tie into the seers village rework
- Whats the point of the workshop
- Who built it
- Whats at the bottom
Other random quest points
- More about senntisten and how the rift in souls bane came about
- Whats the inner tzhaar city behind the big stone doors of the plaza
- Maybe expand into the archron region of the north where the fremennik discovered the essence mine
- Fossil island (yeah os is doing it but that doesnt mean rs3 cant finally wrap that up too)
Thats all i can think of atm
Pirates
- Rabid Jack, what state is he in, what is he planning, how did he return?
- Bill Teach is gathering the Pirate Council
- What was in Rabid Jack's box when he jumped overboard?
- The temple that's hinted to be the source of all the ressurections
- The Cursed Archipelago
- Mi-Gor, Mechanical Murphy and Captain Donnie as reccuring characters?
- Bill Teach hints that we might use the Barrelchest disguise again
- What is "the box"?
--------------
Xau-Tak should not play a major part in the Pirates series. He is the unseen force behind all the ressurections, but he plays no core part in the series as a whole. The Pirate series' main antagonist is Rabid Jack. Xau-Tak will undoubtedly be hinted at, and maybe even introduced, but he's best served as an antagonist in a series of his own.
-
I have noticed your kind does tend to blindly stumble forward towards danger simply because it exists. What is your word for that?
- We call it being a hero.
