Hmmm I wonder how many others are in Gielinor. They likely came to help their God, but it begs the question of how many he's aware of, if at all. Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

ToN was really good, had the usual Saradominists murderin' and brainwashin' we've come to expect along with lots of new lore.

Personally I think Oreb is dead and not coming back. Remember, where we encountered him, in the underworld.

This really shined light on Nomad's whole backstory and even gave us more to theorize on Sliske's plans for Nomad, especially when it comes to the whole Soul and afterlife thing Sliske seeks that was explained at runefest. "Your god's dead next time he's in a world event. "

Oreb confirmed Sliske's master. Calling it here, folks! Does that mean we get to visit Terragard in 2017?! HYPE!

Also, if Oreb is Sliske's master.. then how did he know about the Staff? I know he would know about the pulling out souls thing, but where did he get his knowledge of the Staff? WHO is he trying to lure to Sliske's game? Saradomin seems most likely, but why? To bring him back to Terragard? Maybe to gain his powers? WHY would he work with Sliske of all people? Did he come to Sliske, or did Sliske come to him? A

Please let Teragard be one of the 2017 expansions! I also really want them to relate this story to Robert's. I also hope that they somehow relate Nomad's story to however One of a Kind and Hero's Welcome are included.

Good questions about the stuff. The idea that Oreb is Sliske's master is just an impulsive, though I do admit I would prefer if he weren't the master.

Technically, going by the book of the underworld, the river noumenon is the threshold between the underworld and the land of the living, not the underworld itself (which is past the gates). Of course, souls seem to drift near the threshold, and the river connects to the afterlife, so that doesn't really invalidate what you said. -

At the moment Oreb seems like one of the most likely candidates for Sliske's master. We know Sliske wants to save himself from oblivion, so it makes sense he'd contact someone with considerable knowledge of the subject. It also explains howSliske could have one of his books and knowledge of his theories. The fire warrior's presence in The Temple of Ikov might explain how he knew of the staff. -
