Anyhow, I think that's most of my thoughts on the whole multiplayer side of sailing. Hope that answers your concerns. If there's any concerns I didn't address, or would like me to go into more detail about, I'd be very happy to. And if you have any further concerns/ questions, please do feel free to ask. Sailing

I really really like this idea, I would also love to see some pvp and pvm action in the sailing side but it should be so that a player can not be attacked whenever they choose but only in certain worlds or areas.

Thanks for replying! The wilderness sea is the only sea that has the ability for boats to attack each other, and there's no way to opt out of that in any world or part of the wilderness sea. You get good rewards from the wilderness sea, but have to risk being attacked by other players. A lot like the mainland wilderness! Other seas don't have that ability to attack or be attacked by other boats, but they all have some dangers in any case. They higher level seas also have boss monsters which might attack the boat - again, there's no way to opt out of getting attacked, but you can still escape them. Again, that's part of the risk vs reward part of it.

What if you're sailing on a PvP world, does the entire sea count as wilderness? :O

I wonder what the addition of a sailing skill would do the stats page? I remember when they added construction in 2006, they had to remove quest points and combat level from the bottom of it (never liked that too much). But now there wouldn't even be room for total level at the bottom of this page!

I think after summoning was released the stats page was changed so that total level was written at the top. Might be wrong though

I still can't understand why is everyone so hyped with this Sailing thing?

I personally am so keen to see sailing in game because it has the potential to bring an essentially limitless amount of content to all players.
