I'm tired of bots racking up all the cash. they kill the economy and it's nearly impossible to make money skilling, at least decent money. We all know in order to win the war against bots, a GE would have to take place. But we know this is not going to happen. This only affects the botters/merch bots. I have come up with some ideas that can help us win the upper hand against bots and merchers. This can also include certain quests points for items/monster.

First idea is to make some monsters/items obtainable by completing certain quests.
For example, in order to fish sharks you would have to do The Fremennik Trails.

In order to kill dragons (green dragons, lava dragons, blue dragons etc) you would have complete the quest Dragon Slayer. I find it pretty ironic that you have to go tru a whole deal of trouble to slay a simple dragon, but in the wilderness all you need is a weapon, and anti dragon shield.

Someone had also brought up an idea about fire arrows in one of the previous polls. This is such a good idea, knowing that arrows are so cheap because they don't do a lot of damage. Most ranger resort to using bolts or hybriding with melee in order to do more damage.

Just a quick idea to help trading

First Idea

When a player is selling something there could be an option to right click items for sale and add them to a separate inventory. The players that are selling can access the second inventory at any time to update it.

The buyer can right click any player in the game who is near by to view the inventory that they have for sale, they can then work out a deal and trade with the player.

Second Idea

At any bank players may right click on a banker and select a new option, 'Buy/Sell.' The player will need to type in buy or sell into a search bar. If he/she selects 'Sell' an inventory window will appear with every item in the game. Each player will be able to search for the items they want. Once they find the items they want to buy they will be able to click on it and the sellers user names will appear along with the quantity. The player can then find those who are selling the items. They can then negotiate a meeting spot by speaking to them through a 'Trading list.' (I will explain this later on.)

For selling the player selects 'Sell'. They then search for the item they want to sell and click on it. A box will appear asking for the quantity, once they input it the player will wait for someone to message them through the 'Trading list.'

Here is an example of the options at the bank after the update.

Talk-to Banker
Bank Banker
Buy/Sell
Walk here

The Trading list

To help trades run smoothly there could be a trading list where the players add the buyers and sellers . That way the friends list is kept separate. The players can then delete the person later on if they want or need to.

Just a few ideas.

Just had a thought on how to develop the idea to stop Raggers . I know there has been talk to put the players fighting each other on top of everyone else in the wilderness.

My idea is to only allow players to fight each other if they are risking the same or a similar amount of wealth. This would stop people running in with one item and attacking people who are risking more.

In the current form of Old School Runescape this probably wouldn't work as there is no set price on anything. However if there was an arranged death match then I could see this working. Both players could agree to fight each other using a Duel Arena type method of match making.

I would like this idea to be implemented into the High Risk worlds or have a new world opened to give players the choice.

I just thought I would put this idea out there, the game isn't ready for it yet in my opinion and it just depends on where the game goes from here.

I would love to get some feedback on this idea, please feel free to comment!

I propose we have specific official Trading chats, with as many categories as needed.

the more categories the better, so people can get/sell specific items.

services chats too - eg - crafting services for players who will craft items if materials are provided.

make a dungeon like pvm dungeon with boss tactics and trash mobs. 3 players are needed. each need to use a specific combat skill so as range mage and melee.

the ability to search for party.

good reward but hard and fun

untradable items

new prayers such as rigiour and the mage on
