I believe the ability to freely move hotspots, walls, & doors in PoHs should be polled: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpiB9g8fLxc
Especially since most features in that video have already successfully been implemented in OSRS: being able to overview your entire house, rotate rooms freely, and move them around freely.
Rearranging things inside a PoH room, from a programming perspective, shouldn't be too hard. Then again I don't know how complex the code for this is or how, exactly, things are organized behind it. Knowing that OSRS doesn't even have arrays, I'm not sure how PoH entities are all fixed, but generally it's not that hard to make it possible to rearrange preexisting items inside a room, particularly when they're conveniently fixed to a grid/tile system.
This would add a fresh, new layer of depth to one of OSRS's most unique and entertaining pieces of content, PoHs. When it comes to the socially-oriented players who mainly engage with content like house parties, chatting with friends, or even roleplaying, both the short- and long-term membership-retention value cannot be understated.
I could easily see future, community-driven events being made possibly only due to this suggested change, with players utilizing currently-impossible hotspot, wall, & door placements. Another noteworthy boon: several jmods who appear on streams could make houses of their own to show off their creativity, inspire players with their designs, and engage with the community.
Not to mention that this would add more entertainment value & replayability without having to rely heavily on grinding to keep players engaged. Giving players another fun reprieve to reduce the stress of grinding, PvM, PvP, negative player interactions, and life in general is always a good thing.
No matter how you look at this, everybody wins.
If you build it, they will come... To thank you for constructing such a fantastic update.
