Hello mods,
I'd like to propose that the mining gloves be given greater purpose because as of right now they are seen as dead content by almost everybody. My idea would be that if a player obtains the superior mining gloves that it gives an increase to motherlode mine, such as a chance to discover more ore than what was put into the hopper (probably rolled based off of their mining level), a chance to get more than the current cap of nuggets, chance to collect the ore from the walls faster/longer, or even an additional xp boost. It doesnt make sense why they were designed to match the prospector outfit but then have nothing to do with it and then give players no incentive to get them unless somebody wanted to grind out amethyst. All other applications for the gloves are far outclassed by motherlode mine (such as trying to get a certain type of ore). At the least, if none of this can be worked in then they should at least be made easier to get in case players did want them.
This is a piece of content that players should not look at in the collection log and think "ah I cant be asked to go and get those". Hopefully I'm not alone on that thought.
