Over the years, I seem to have noticed how Runescape has consumed all of my spare time.. and surely I'm not alone.
I have been playing Runescape since the release of the Construction skill.
As an experienced player, I would like to throw in my two cents..
I really like the idea of Warding becoming a new skill, but I don't believe it will pass the polls without stuffing the ballot boxes.
To tell the truth, I would've never thought of something like Warding as a potential candidate for a new skill.
It really got me thinking.. "What skill could Jagex possibly add to the game other than Warding?"
Today, I finally thought of something that could contend with Warding as a new skill that has never been mentioned to me over all these years.
Are you ready?
The new skill that I thought of is called Timing.
Timing would be released with the Gielenorian calender which would present the children of Gielenor with weekly events and other news.
In order to level up Timing, you would have to buy 'skill watches' from a young NPC named Timmy, who is trying to find the meaning of life. Time is money!
Each skill watch would represent a different skill such as the 'Slayer watch' or the 'Cooking watch'..etc., which would be worn around the player's wrist or kept in the inventory.
Everyday, Timmy would sell a different kind of watch.
The watches would break once you received a certain amount of experience in the relative skill.
You would gain Timing experience by returning your broken watches to Timmy who would tell you that he can fix them with a little bit of time. (Then you would get an xp drop)
You would do different skill tasks all the way to level 99, breaking thousands of watches along the way.
Timmy would age more and more as you level up in the skill until he is an old man.
You would purchase your skill cape from an NPC named Grandfather Time, who would be an older version of Timmy.
The pet would be a Clockwork Puppy.
