like many i started playing runescape before the 2007 format change and subsequently i prefer the old school version of the game for nostalgic reasons, however could it be at all possible to reintroduce some of the features from pre-2007 that were lost when osrs launched,
such as -
Firstly, the random events that happened while training skills, such as the tree ents while woodcutting, river trolls while fishing, etc, as these not only broke the monotony of repeated actions and kept players more alert but also curbed the use of bots (i know it won't stop people botting entirely but it will deter them slightly).
And secondly, the summoning skill, which was originally on the game pre-2007 and therefore should be included on osrs, as myself and many of my friends enjoyed this skill greatly.

i know this would be a lot of work and resources to add these features however i do believe they would greatly improve the runescape world and subsequently attract new players to the game.

i really hope this reaches someone who could make the decision and look forward to a response,

I only have 1 Suggestion START FRICKING BANNING BOTS..
im sick of it.
if lost over 6 million in the last couple year. just because bots are producing items in LARGE scale and fuck up the GE.

if payed in total over 6 million op rs3 for FULL zamarok.

whats it worth now? 100k

Fix the bot issue or ill never play RS again.

It takes away the fun and takes away ALLOT of ways to make money.

Again. for me it takws away the fun and takes away the effort of wanting to continue.. caus be honest boys are u happy with 100000million on the bank? having nothing to lvl having nothing to do? that fun? NO. i love grinding. i love farming..

Hello! My suggestion is just for the Old School Forums. As a clan leader, I find it difficult to find people who are actually looking for a good clan to join. I have a thread that I bump very often, and we have a number of great members already, but I noticed our activity slipping a bit.

It's hard to find people in-game who are really looking for a clan, but it would be nice to have an "Old School Clans: Looking for a clan" thread. The main game has this thread, and when I used to play back in those days, I used that thread all of the time. If I was looking for a new clan, I would post a small description of my play-style, my stats, and what I was looking for in a clan. If I was recruiting, I could find people looking for a clan that fits the description of mine, and give them an invite on their thread.



TLDR;
Please add a "Looking for a clan" section specific to Old School Clans :)

I feel like the RDT should be updated. Most of the time when you get a RTD you are mad. I don't think it should be that way. Of course there shouldn't be an overpowered rare drop table, but maybe a rare drop table based on the cmb lvl of the monster. For example: bosses could have an upgraded RDT with a special chance of a very very rare item (like the imbued heart from bigger and badder). And regular monster could keep the same drop table or something like that.

I think it would be a great addition to the game, because RS doesn't have many rare items. We need something that we have to hunt for days, and days. A drop that would be so rare that it would be a privilege to acquire it. Also, make it untradeable, and undropable so that the hackers wouldn't profit out of it. It would add a personal accomplishment to the game (a form of ironman content to every account).

How about making a game mode where you unlock areas and content of the game with coins or skills maybe. So lets say you start at lumbridge castle and to get out need to unlock the area outside or maybe the second floor of the castle with maybe 500gp or maybe 5 cb level or 5 thieving or even a mixture like 500gp and 5 cb lvl. And so it gets increasing harder to unlock the game and the more important the location is the harder it will be to unlock it. Something on this scale will probably require servers of its own though. I got the idea of this game mode when I saw FlippingOldSchools video. Where he attempts to only use the GE and unlock the area next to it for herblore and construction via coins in order to skill and make money, etc.

The main problem with this is people might not be very motivated in playing this since once you've unlocked all the areas it won't be any different from the game itself and to fix this the game mode will probably require a small twist to it, but I'm not sure what to do about that. If you do end up planning to adopt you may want to find a way to fix this issue maybe ask the community in general what they would want on top of this in order to make it more motivating to play.

So was just thinking, what if Jagex added a new style of slayer task where instead of a specific monster, you get the option of killing a variety of monsters in an area. Like say the task would be "kill 100 creatures in Catacombs" or in Nieve's cave, etc. I think it could make slayer a bit more fun, giving you the chance to do what you prefer a bit more. I think it should be a rare chance of getting the task, but I like the idea. Any thoughts?

Thoughts on making Ilfeen stay in one plave a Hard or Elite Western Provinces Diary rewards? Trying to find her to recharge crystal equipment is a minor nuisance that I think could go onto a diary reward pretty well.

Add some kinda requirement or separate spawns to brutal black dragons so players can actually do their slayer assignment there without hopping for 20mins.....

Legit every pure, alt and possibly bots have every world packed and people on slayer tasks wont find it worth to hop for 20mins just to get crashed when banking.
