Ever sine the rerelease of the Grand Exchange I always tell people to not trust player to player trading. The scam where the player advertises buying an item for even more than the GE price is still common. For example the player will advertise he is buying an item worth 8m for 9m. However in the trade he will put up items that appear to be worth 9m but in reality no one is buying them and they are basically worthless. Trust the GE more than the players! It's sad to say but thats the world we live in... Hello there! I'm literally that Scrub ;) +

I’ve noticed a lot of people saying something to the effect of “spending max cash”, “spending 2147M”, etc. They will trade, but instead of max cash they will just put in 2147 platinum tokens. I guess the idea being that neither 2147k or 2147 plat tokens show up with green text, like max GP would, so it’s easy to overlook. This has probably been mentioned, but I didn’t see it in the main list, so I figured I would make a comment about it.

You can't avoid them when almost everyone thinks they are okay to do because Jagex does nothing about them. It is like Jagex is saying commit crimes because were gonna do nothing about it! It is like Jagex is telling the people who fall for them that their dumb when almost everyone in game is constantly doing them. You know what happens to scammers inrl? Many horrible things that should be the same as in Runescape. Scamming is a "CRIME" nomatter how you look at it.

Hello everyone I am back, I recently returned to runescape, I was on and off since 2007.i am very familiar with the rules and regulations. I often report abuse on the daily basis. From scammers, and bots, to overall disruptive behavior. Which goes on everyday of the week. In the past I brong my biological father into the game, and he taught me more about the rules several years ago. He later became a p-mod known as "Capt pops" he has taught me everything I know. Though I never was a p-mod before. I had the privilege of observing his duties as one. I love this game completely, and scammers make people want to quit and is very bad for the runescape community as well as oldschool runescape. I would like to make a proposal to any jagex mod that would have me, to allow me the opportunity to see pending reports, and the ability to mute rascist or offensive players, and bots. For this is a serious problem in the game especially in worlds 301, where players are most active. I am more active then ever, and enjoy helping other players out. I was a moderator for various chats in the past, and a veteran in osrs. Please feel free to contact me anytime!

Just got scammed/hacked by an "official twitch channel" using a very similar name to your own channel, theirs is named "OIdSchooIRS_Official" the second I logged in I was DDOS'd and lost access to the internet and by the time I got back on my account, I was swindled.

They're currently the second most viewed channel at this moment so please be aware of this as all I can do is report the channel for being fake. I'm a bloody idiot for falling for it and can only blame myself.

The reason I logged in was because I knew a x2 xp weekend was coming up and it said I needed to access the forums to be a part of it and before I could rationally think what I was about to do it was to late.

Hope others see this so it doesn't happen to them. I'm posting this so people are aware and not as dumb as me.

Just posting a further update, the channel on twitch was banned fairly quickly after I reported it however the scammer made a new twitch account which has a similar name "oidschooirs_official" it was in the top 3 channels once again. I've reported it and hope it gets banned asap.

Be careful out there. Hope people learn a valuable lesson like I did.

Cosmickid here! speaking of scamming, the last year i've been going around every world and reporting all the game of chance bots in the grand exchange and i'm getting real tired of it not doing any good. I'm trying to gather a group of individuals in a clan chat so we can try to take these guys down for real is there anyone else who's interested in this please let me know <3. I'll make the clan chat whenever i get some responses! Thank you for your time Trying to take down roll bet and all other ge player run games of chance :)
