Fantastic post & great advice.
I played the original OSRS for years & returned when it came out on mobile. So far, it's just as I remember & brings back all the nostalgia with it, however I've noticed a significant increase in scams, doubling, bots/macros, gambling, etc. I know reporting is highly encouraged and there are a few places to post names of macro/bots and such, but it seems like most players tend to ignore & go on with the game.
I read through this post for advice although I admit, I didn't read all 61 pages of it, so I apologize if my question has already been answered.
I'm also aware the platform is still somewhat new especially for mobile, and these spammers can't possibly be buying memberships for all these accounts, so it may just be a f2p issue - even if a few do get through to p2p worlds. (I'm curious to see when I decide to finally activate my bonds).
My question is if jagex has OSRS in-game staff that will enforce fair play yet - because I haven't run across any so far. If so, are they only in p2p worlds? I couldn't imagine it would be too difficult for a jmod to hang out here and there to clean up the GE/wilderness border & maybe some pmods that wouldn't mind muting/reporting as they come across this constant nuisance.
Whatever the case if it's just a f2p issue or if Jagex has a plan in progress or not, I still think OSRS on mobile is a total hit & it won't inhibit my play.
Keep at it guys & thanks for bringing it back!
