Yeah I agree it is hard to trust people sometimes on this game.

It's a good habit to exercise caution as well, so props to you for that.

I totally agree with you Redmage. I'm very cautious and don't trust anybody on the game... I don't understand why people think it's ok to scam others. What's the fun in that, where's the accomplishment? I wish they had enough respect for others not to do this and ruin the game for us. Hopefully when everything's sorted with RS3, Jagex can focus a little more on this issue.

While selling pure essence, this guy told me there was a shop that I could sell them at for 150gp each (I'm sure you guys have heard of this one) and he'd show me where if I followed him. Deciding to humor him, I banked everything first and off to Shilo Village we went... I bet he was very disappointed when not a single thing showed up in my pile when I died. Haha.

Reminding everyone of the Astronomy Book you get from Observatory or so, people are actually trying to sell them for lots of money and they're worth nothing and pointless, dont fall for it guys

Thanks Lesley. And I know they don't, but every little bit helps. At the least if they find this thread after they've been scammed they can keep an eye out for other ones mentioned here to ensure they aren't scammed in the future.
