Back in 2007, Runescape would be asking their community to vote for their game and Jagex. Subsequently they won the Developer of the Year Awards in 2009 and 2010, and we still have the Golden Hammer to celebrate for it in RS3 now in 2023.
But... in 2023, OSRS asked the community to vote for a streamer (who was invisible in the event BTW) instead of OSRS the game itself for the Best Game in The Streamer Award 2023:

This shows you how far Oldschool "Runescape" has slipped. Even still donning the Runescape namesake, in reality OSRS is even more invisible than a invisible streamer in the real world marketplace and events arena.
No wonder the 2023 Jagex is branching out to the real world marketplace with their proactive diversification efforts, hoping SCUM and Pipeworks Studios they purchased and an array of developers they partnered with, if not RS3, can bring them back to the authenticity and glories of their 2007 era.
