If you have watched today's OSRS Art Direction livestream you should know the game's 2007 graphics is going to be changed too.

The Associate Art Director also said if there is a thing he wants to change, the Polling Steam will be gone too.

So much for the "authenticity of '07scape". ;)

And the party room/party hats shall be "the balz" again.
Wealthy players who drop big loot shall be idolized and no other players will pull the lever but those who are idols. Party hats cost 15m or more. No exceptions.

The year of 2021 marks the first year ever that the traditional Halloween Event is being left off the Headline of a game update. The more puzzling fact is the actual Headline of the Game Update which bumped off the classic Halloween event is merely a few beta worlds for new rewards.

Any question this is 2021scape 2022scape, and not 2007scape?

2007scape has totally died. :(

If the updates to OSRS will run parallel to RS3, then I believe a lot of people will eventually quit playing '(both versions of) RuneScape.

As long as they don't do updates reminiscent of EoC, or NEX, or whatever cloning updates in RS3 to OSRS, people, me included, will continue playing. Keep the games separate.

When I started playing OSRS on launch day, I didn't want any content updates, only quality of life updates, but alas, here we are with a game grown in an entirely different direction, and I'm glad that it did.
Never drop a valuable item.

The irony what were illegal in 2007 Runescape like 3PCs are now Champions of OSRS in 2021. What a mockery to the "Authenticity of ‘07scape"

Folks, not only 2007Scape the game has changed, so is the "2007scape" community changed drastically in 2021 too.
