Why would you want to go back to that? The Grand Exchange was a major blessing as you no longer have to stand around shouting what your buying/selling anymore. I played both pre and post GE and I seriously don't miss the pre-GE age.

Then L2trade....? You weren't supposed to sit around waiting spamming. You were supposed to have connections to buy everything lmao. Some of us also don't like the mass bot dumping and merch clans which are available now with the GE. At least tax it lol. I would much rather anyone PK in game than do so irl. If you wanna get it out, do it on an online platform please. I don't want anyone getting harmed physically. :(

Why would we want to play your game instead of the game that Andrew Gower created? Merchanting was something players created. The game allowed for trade, but the ge is just as good as doing what Andrew wanted as player to player.

The GE allowed merch clans to take control. It automated everything and made it braindead just that you don't see it as clearly kinda like how you never saw clearly how obnoxious PvM drop tables were until I shoved them in your face. Besides, the GE forces everyone to be a gold farmer and only care about hyperefficiency. No one plays for fun anymore. I would much rather anyone PK in game than do so irl. Hi just earned my right on these forums. For me, the grand exchange is amazing to me since it helps me get equipment that would take forever...aside from that amulet of eternal glory. God I want that so bad but on the GE it’s 32+ million gold. Respect to pre GE but I honestly cannot imagine OSRS without it. I’m just a mad man trying to make a living across the lands.

I'am one of those that played Runescape before GE. I prefer GE over oldschool trading, because there was really many scammers back then.


It also was annoying to keep typing for hours before people were buying from you. :D

I've played since 2006.

The days of standing around in the bank and actually having to search for items that you were looking for are gone. Finding a specific item that you were searching for lead to the kind of quest and achievement to me.
