"You know, I'm curious about that first part; are you also like that in real life when it comes to elections? Along the lines of "my vote doesn't even matter, as if I had any control to change anything"? Because yeah, if you just give up and don't do a damn, then you really don't matter, but if everyone who thought like this actually stood up and tried, the combined effort could well matter. So don't belittle yourself, because you never know the potential. > )"
It's not so much that i don't care, it's moreso I've observed that I as well as the majority of people can't have an impact on Jagex's decisions. For example, for the most part most people including me and possibly you don't like mtx. After countless of times we've complained to Jagex they've promised this and that but at the end of the day they still do whatever is best for their pockets. At the end of the day they are a business where the priorities are making as much money as possible. Now although players have come and gone, the players still playing consistently today are those who are truly invested into the game - players with 200ms and those who are at the endgame content. Jagex knows for a fact that these people will stay playing regardless no matter how far they go. People that are in the top hiscores they will play regardless whether Jagex releases an OP promotion or xp hand out. Why? Because at the end of the day, these complaints we make about everything
isn't that much of a big deal and is actually very minor and little impactful to their gameplay. If their christmas lootbeam gets rereleased then they don't care because they don't see it as some precious achievement in the game like you do.
"Consistency is ideal but not mandatory IMO as a compromise."
Perhaps Jagex is doing more rereleases to change the players minds and make them realise "hey we aren't about that life anymore. These items aren't anything special or meant to be rare - we just created them for profits"
