I own the set, and I'm of the opinion that cosmetics should be obtainable by all players, with the exception of holiday events. Things like Furies Agent....it was more of a microtransactions promotion than an actual event. Cosmetics were never designed to be something exclusive or elitist by nature. I think people should have the free access to things like this, to help further their creativity in making outfits they really enjoy.

I support a re-release.
+1.
Can't believe a thread exists on NOT rereleasing something that hasn't even been confirmed to make a return. This thread should be locked as it's nothing but a flamewar starting thread.

Bear in mind, though, that without the players who did play at the time, the game wouldn't have continued to exist for those who came after. If I was one of the latter people, I'd not be complaining about missing out on an optional item, because it's much more important that the game survived for me to see it. > )
Bear in mind, if it weren't for newer players entering the game, the game wouldn't grow. Soo..

They should have been playing. They could have read news articles on the runescape website or any other platform where runescape is discussed. If you have time to sit on your ass you have time to read and be informed. :P
That response comes off as condescending and unhelpful - fmod.

Idc what you claim your reason to be. Still no reason to rerelease an outfit just to benefit a few people.

Agreed.

If you wanted it so bad you shouldve gotten it when you had the chance.

Of course you agree. And you also agree with because you missed the Santa Suit, you're not entitled to get that either, right?
+1. I wouldn't bother with him tbh, as he's proved himself to be two-faced and contradicting many many times before. ;)

Yes, but new players who are truly interested in the game, will stay playing regardless of whether they can get optional cosmetics or not; the base game experience and monetization are the two things that matter, not this. If you're concerned about new players not staying, then you should focus your efforts on the issues within those two things instead.

I think pleasing many players, as well as making a lot of profit is a great reason to rerelease an outfit :P

Making new/alternate versions would not only please more players, but it'd also keep the old owners happy that their trust wasn't exploited, by keeping the original version discontinued like was meant to be. > )

^On the contrary, veteran players who are truly invested in the game, will stay playing regardless whether their optional cosmetics are rereleased or not. If you're concerned about pleasing new players, consider that making new/alternative versions would not only clutter up the game, but also solve nothing - as there will players that will always prefer one version to the other and want that particular (in this case the original) outfit over the other.

Making new versions wouldn't please all "old owners" either so you've got to take that into consideration. It'd only please those players who care about exclusivity. Imagine Jagex rereleased and recycled old outfits many many times. Eventually players will get tired and want something new and original. I'd rather not have 10 fury agent outfit types, thank you.

Personally, having owned the item, i'd rather they rerelease it than make a whole new one. I don't want to grind extra just so i can unlock a new colour of the outfit i already have.

I do not own the outfit. I much rather see new items instead of reusing older content.
Why please a small portion of the community with re-releasing, when making newer outfits pleases us all.

Plus, it is most likely more profitable for Jagex to release new items instead of reusing older outfits, because a lot of people already own it.

No support for Agent of Fury to come back.

Everyone has that threshold of how many lies they can take from a company before they get tired of being exploited; the more Jagex deceives its veterans, the more likely it is for them to quit because they no longer have trust, which is important.

Alternate versions can be played around with to find the optimal satisfaction; the players who would then still insist on getting the original, would do so out of jealousy, not because they want to use it. > )

This goes back to what is reasonable and what is not; if it was done right, there'd be no need to make 10 fury outfits.

Sigh, still only talking about different colors, I see.
