Stockholm's Syndrome? Seriously? You are a physical prisoner at the mercy of Jagex? Is that your argument?
Frankly, making the association between us, as players, and prisoners of war or people held hostage makes it difficult to take anything else you say seriously. Or maybe it's that you take all this too seriously. It's an online mmorpg. It was doomed from the day it started. They all die in time. This one will, too. There simply is no stopping it. I doubt it will be kitty cat ears that kill it just as I doubted all those who ranted and raved for months about the change of the agility icon that Jagex was committing suicide by graphical updates.
You're entitled to your opinion but more important is your power as a consumer. If you disapprove, don't buy. Simple. What you're not entitled to do is decide for the rest of us. For my part, I'm looking forward to more items available in the store.
