Cosmetics are crucial to gameplay. There would be no point in creating cosmetics or wasting time and resources on updating graphics if they were not.

I know Jagex is making a large sum of money from this, but I fail to see how that money is being allocated towards making better updates seeing that updates are being made at a sloweror similar rate than they were previously due to more updates being about Solomon's store or the squeal of fortune over anything else.

I'm definitely not going to pay $15 extra to play an old game. Usually you pay less for older games, not more.

Also, what wrong with trying to help the current game? I have no problems with EoC, but Solomon's is truly an issue.

Absolutely nothing, which is exactly what Solomon is here for.

@Coyteria: Why can't you have those clothes from the money that you pay Jagex monthly?

@Tre288: Solomon's store alongside the Squeal of Fortune go against Jagex's main principles and destroy the line that separates Runescape from your run-off-the-mill MMORPG.

What Principles would those be?

If you are referring to RWT then you are wrong again.

Solomons, and Squeel are microtransactions. Microtransactions do not equal Real World Trading.

Real world trading generally involves an outside person, and/or company selling something they have no legal ownership of. (I.e accounts, items, in game gold) Which in no way benefits the company, and is.. well.. illegal.

Microtransactions are a little something companies and game developers use to give players something extra, and optional to enjoy, at a cost, that in turn benefits the entirety of the game.

Do you call up microsoft and complain at them for Real World Trading when your xbox tries to charge you money for your optional call of duty DLC's?
^-^
