Of course we do, but this post is focusing on microtransactions as a whole because the root of the problem is what must be addressed in order to prevent us getting to the point that we are at right now.
In no way has this thread ever been anything discussing anything other than complaining about Solomon's or MTX
I have no idea what you just said.
This is not a Rant thread.
It points out, in a calculative manner, reasons against having Microtransactions in the game, while also requesting their removal. It also correctly predicts the harm it does to the game.
You can request the removal all you want but thats never going to happen. Almost every single IF NOT every single MMO has micro-transactions. I see nothing wrong with having the OPTION to pay real money for cosmetics**** is just being more like every other MMO. Woopty doo. Deal with it.
If RS is supposed to be like every other MMO, what incentive would anyone have to play it?
Most games with Microtransactions also don't have a membership fee, shouldn't all of RS be free-to-play if it's also going to be pay-to-win?

That's not true at all, a lot of MMO games have membership fees and MTX payments for cosmetics among other things. Even if you look at popular games like GTA5, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Destiny, Madden, etc... all of these games have MTX. It's not ideal, but it's the way the gaming industry operates now.
I would argue Runescape is in a better situation than most games, because since there are no expansions, you aren't locked out of new content. Additionally the game is updated more frequently than just about any other game.
