>So if you're playing there, freely, and away from the main game, and not paying membership to play, and you pretty much quit... what's the point of this thread?
I'm trying to spread awareness and fix a problem inherent in the main game.
I hate where I live!
Well where do you live?
Alabama, but I reside in New York currently.
So you hate New York you mean?
No I hate Alabama.
But you're in New York.
Yea but I noticed a lot of racial bigotry in Alabama, and it's a problem. Once it gets better, I would love to move back.
I can't believe this thread still exists.. I remember arguing with the OP when it was originally posted.. so here we are 3 years later with solomons and MTX in general going nowhere fast I think it's time to quit bumping a pointless thread don't you think?

If anything, this thread should be kep alive for pointing out and predicting how big the MTX was gonna get. Here we are now, with people buying bonds for gp, solomon's store dictating almost every cosmetic aspect of the game, and Jagex just getting greedier and greedier.
Oh look, another free player complaining about Jagex taking measures to ensure that RuneScape still exists in ten years.
Guess what? Many players, myself included,
like
Solomon's. We
like
promotional items and cosmetics and we
like
Bonds.
Players who buy these things help support the game. I'm glad to encourage Jagex to continue with these things and will continue to do so. As a matter of fact, I just bought 600 RC and three Bonds, so deal with it.
Players who have been around for over a decade, like myself and many others here, want to see RuneScape
stick
around for much longer. We love this game. We might not always agree with every little thing Jagex does, but we're totally willing to fork over our hard-earned cash to keep this thing going, because it's important to us.
