It's not too late to move this to the Rants Section where it belongs.
You'll get a lot more support there than here.

You seem to be quite fond of The Moving Goalpost fallacy.

Or maybe you're simply a troll.
Maybe these very many posts that have destroyed your poor reasoning time and time again have at one point convinced you that, Yes, it IS Okay.
Microtransactions are staying in the game and will continue to support the game where even raised membership fees can't suffice.

But for a cheap giggle every now and again, you still bump this nonsense.

You're only succeeding in showing everyone what a troll/crybaby you are.

We'll see how big of a mountain you'll continue to mistake this anthill for/ how long it will take you to finally get bored and actually quit this game, as you claimed to have done.

You can't just call something a fallacy and win an argument, you have to explain what's actually wrong with it.

Also, I quit this game a long time ago, but I'm too proud of my writing to let this thread die, as it eventually will. Also, name calling doesn't make you better in argument.

I really have no clue why people keep posting/bumping these kinds of threads.

The Solomon's general store is meant for people that like pushing the limits on character customisation; how your character looks like. Aside from the bank booster [which isn't that OP considering the items you would really need to stash in your bank], everything in there is completely harmless and doesn't improve your gameplay AT ALL. It's purely cosmetic.

Real-world trading is what simply is hugely overestimated. What the rules always said, and what countless of ignorant fools just kept refusing to read, understand or aknowledge, is that it is not allowed to trade items < - > RL money BETWEEN PLAYERS. The Treasure Hunter, formerly known as the Squeal of Fortune, has greatly adapted and is largely being converted into a method that gently pushes your skill progress in the right direction. Most of the occasions they don't just hand out expensive items [with exclusion of skilling crates YET], they don't give instantly-obtained xp at ridicillious rates anymore [as lamps are pretty uncommon/rare now], and everything is dependant on how far you've progressed in the game. This means that the push a level 138 gets is as large as a level 3 would get.

Bonds are not Real-world trading at all. They are actually the very same membership, runecoins or TH keys you would buy [for a bit more*, the only difference is that there is a step in between them that makes you able to sell or give them. A bond literally is your ingame version of a Runescape 'gift card' that you can sell/give to another player or use for yourself.
things like zarosian/serenitsts outfits or diguises of things should be from quests by people who actually know of lore and what they are,not by some rich kid who wants to look nice and has done 0 quests, cosmetics should be like the ghostly robes not pay2lookgood.
bonds and TH are real world trade and pay to win, dont deny

This thread will never die as the SGS forums are completely dead.

RS was a game where anyone can strive to customize and control their character however they please. Doing quests, skilling ect to use what the game has given us to create our own people. Now with the option to buy cosmetics with real in-game money it ruins the fun and achievement aspect, and the fact that the solomons store items don't match with older models.

The game was more fun before microtransactions because you had control with what you to choose from ingame... real life aside. No discrimination. Now seeing all these loony looking outfits that look like it's from another game just feels meaningless. Like, oh they guy bought something from the store... but what has he really achieved?

" So your saying they put the money right back into updates? Man what a horrible thing!
He is talking about a certain kind of update. One which he has a problem with.
I will say and afirm, that, it is true that things come back to their origins. What BROMATO is trying to point out is that the origin of the jajex store is for making money. The result of this, is that they don't care about the game, enough, (because of money), to not do something real stupid. If the people are offering to pay for it, then jagex is willing to make it: regardless of the consequences.

Wow what a rant... Well good luck in finding an mmor** without any way to spend money on, either being via illegal RWTing or cosmetics.
I'm probably not the only one who just buys bonds with in-game cash to get runecoins for cosmetics. Since the prices aren't high, I just see sgs as a way to spend my gold in overrides.
