Ur all missing the point . Everyone is titled to their own opinions. The point of this thread was to inform people and remind jagex about the guaranteed content poll they did on this topic that barely passed but still passed and has been forgotten due to the huge debate .

Blackwing dude no we arnt talkingabout the tradeables or money we talking about the untradeables gp has nothing to do with the topic also it wont ruin the games intregity at all they already re-realesed the snow globe from 07 event and did anyone complain no they didnt and there was more players playing that event after they did that now the only complaint people had from that event was the fact the couldn’t get the other rewards from doing the other past events in last years event of clawdia hat, and candycane and the 05 ,

I have every non tradeable holiday item ever except the 2013 christmas when i was in

the hospital for 54 days.

Sure i would like to have it but... i wasnt there i dont get it and if you were not there
at the holiday you shouldnt get it either.

On a related topic i once read that maybe a compromise could be met, maybe get an item
but when you examine it the examine message would say the year you actually got it or
say the word "copy" in the examine text.

Would i really want to see it like that, no.. im selfish that way i guess. But when you have
a truely iconic item- bunny ears- you really dont want half of rs running around with a "copy" of it.

Ok ur idea of the examine text should settle this and make everyone happy the ones that want it can have it and the selfish ones that dont want anyone to have fun eith the items would be happy too as it have thier obtian event year

Sure, but i fail to see how that is the case for this particular topic.

I fail to see the relevance untradeable cosmetic items have with gold coins which impact ones gameplay in many ways. It's funny because the one comparison you do make is a reality. 200m/250m/500m does get injected into the game and given to players every here and there. You're comparing oranges to apples here.

I'd say otherwise but ok.

Examine text is quite invisible though, and IIRC, doesn't even display on overrides/privacy mode. Could chuck in a change to the name as well, since you're already adding a new entry to the game cache; e.g. Christmas wand (2011) for those who completed the original event. > )

It did hurt the game integrity, actually; you can no longer tell the new and old snow globes from each other (so their historical value was lost), and trust in Jagex took a hit (as well as other consequences, like people quitting etc). People did complain, myself included, and though there were also complaints about not also re-releasing other stuff, those also came from the old owners, who were deceived and wanted to spread their anger to other old owners as well whose items weren't affected. That's another way Jagex manipulates the players, to make them fight against each-other, when really it's Jagex who should be held responsible.

Well, it'd be easiest for you to understand if you learned through experience (Jagex deceiving you on something that you care about), but hopefully, for your sake, it'll never come to that, even if it means you'll keep disagreeing with me. > )

Support. Items of opportunity like that shouldn't be held in high regard as "rare" items.

And this is coming from someone who owns these items. Idgaf about the rarity of these things. I didn't complete the events cause I thought "omg in a decade these are gonna be rare af and exclusivity gets me off". I did them cause I thought the items were cool and fun, and I think other people should have an equal opportunity to get these items as well.

Hell, I'd go one step further and say just give them out for free. Or at least re-release the events. No need to make people pay irl cash for these things.
