Disaster? What disaster? Do you not enjoy the game as it is? Does not owning a certain discontinued item prevent you from doing quests, training your skills, fighting monsters/bosses etc?

No, the game is fine as it is when it comes to discontinued items; they're completely optional. There is no need for Jagex to deceive its loyal players, because there are tons of cosmetics for you to choose from, not to mention that entirely new ones can be made, as well as alternate versions of the old. > )

If Jagex had set the same premise for RS3 in the beginning as they did for OSRS, then that'd have been fine, but alas, they did not. That's just how life goes, pikachu; you can't always get everything you want. I would've liked to get certain discontinued things as well which I didn't, but I won't insist on getting them, because it'd be dishonest of me to encourage Jagex to deceive the original owners by asking for a re-release of the originals.

No support, I mean sure there are things I wouldn't mind getting that I missed I think we all can relate don't get me wrong such as Bunny ears, Easter ring, chicken suit, yo-yo, and other untradables However I didn't start playing til 05 and I had to move between 06-07 so I missed a few the rest my computer got viruses until I got great antiviruses and pc was also fried by lightning due to electrical surge of which I missed the gobstopper easter event as I had to wait on my new motherboard to be shipped from china (3 weeks) for whatever reason some of us missed out on a few things but that doesn't mean it needs to be re-released or the old stuff needs to be brought up for sale, we missed it & that's that get over it.

We should at least be able to lend them. I have most of the holiday items however they are spread between multiple accounts. It would be nice if we could lend them. Eventually, I hope one day they maybe fully tradable but that seems unlikely.

I enjoy the game and ,its not deceiving no one really uses them they just keep em stored to collect dust STOP being greedy little assholes and let other players experience the items they not even tradeable seriously just give it up the poll passed meaning players clearly want them rerealesed so stop debating it and let them do so. re-releasing past holiday items isnt going to ruin the game ,ever here of the pharse "second chance?" why not give players a second chance to obtain these items cause everyone deserves that they even rerealesed the snowglobe last year and the ice amulet the year before . did the game change in anyway after the rerealse of those 2 no it didnt in fact more people could experience the fun of those items like they were ment to be and a lot more people were happy rather then upset plus more players played the event. the positives of rereleasing the items outweighs the negitives. and blackwing the disaster is the controversy of the issue it has gotten out of hand at this point. this should of never happened they did it right in oldschool its time for rs3 to no longer make em discontinued.

And I suppose you'll never let them sit and use them 24/7 daily/nightly & what exactly is the dust you speak of? It's a "Computer" "Game" don't take games so seriously. O_o

If and thats a huge if, if they become tradable or lendable great if they don't they don't, no sense in crying over spilled milk, you got to clean it up.

So if we can all agree that we want them back, why can't we get them back? Theres nothing wrong with not being the 1st timer.

The irony though. Tells others to not take the game so seriously, yet wants to deprive others of a fun cosmetic holiday item..

The problem lies in the fact that Jagex stopped creating good holiday items completely, hence why some players want older ones to return

I can count the amount of regular complainers here on the forums with one hand's fingers, with some irregulars/one-time complainers few and far between. So where are you seeing this as having "gotten out of hand"?

Because what we want is not always what is best/should be done. For example, we could all agree that we all should be given a free max cash stack each, injected to the game out of nowhere, so should we do it because we all agreed that we wanted a free max cash stack each? No, that wouldn't be healthy for the game, just like re-releasing discontinued items without compromising wouldn't be good for the game's integrity. > )
