Walked into my local EB Games today. They had never heard of the new red and green cards and just received a new shipment of the old 30 and 100 day cards this morning. The ironic thing is that just down the walkway in the nearby supermarket they have a stack of the new cards and I couldn't buy them cause they don't have the promotion.

so I bought a runescape gamecard at Bart smit.. which is supposed to be the store you can buy them at in the Netherlands that will/should work according to the rs store locator at the news item concerning the lightning pack.
In stead of the lightning pack I got a flaming skull. Dont get me wrong I prefer the flaming skull I think (i forgot to buy a card for that) -> so please dont remove it!!
Anyway.. it seems that store only sells 22,50 runescape gamecards (check out their website) while you need a 25,00 card for the lightning pack? so its impossible to attain a lightning pack from my country????
Whats up with that!?
please do let me know =) and dont remove that skull! =P
I just want to know how I can get another card for the lightning pack! =P

Just to answer a few questions:
* You'll only receive the new hairstyle/item/emote if your card is purchased at one of the following:
GameStop (USA****)
EB Games (Canada, Australia, New Zealand)
WH Smith (UK)
Purchases made at any other retailer won't include the bonus features.

* The game card is like any other normal game card in that you will receive the package of your choice, in addition to the hairstyle/item/emote.

* The staff itself does have some stats: 867 damage and 600 accuracy. The tier of the staff will be set automatically to your appropriate level, but you can right click the staff and change it

Upon logging in you'll receive a message in the chat box confirming you have the items. If you've bought a game card and don't have what you're expecting, you most likely bought it at the wrong store.

Good to know i just ended my monthly continue membership bought a 10 dollar card...and found that I wont receive the bonus.....Jagex I've been a loyal customer for 8 years and I've been starting to consider leaving this game with my wife. I really hope you make smarter choices in the future on rewards and become more clear on how to recieve such items.
In conclusion I really would love to see items for people that pay with credit cards..considering the fact that we don't put breaks in our subscription. If you where boggled up with EOC and didn't have enough time to clarify where to buy such cards. It shouldn't be the problem of the customer who bought the card mainly for the reward, and they should be reimbursed with some sort of Reward.
