sad that you have seen enough cancelations of membership already that you have to put this up to try to motivate people to buy your game. if eoc is as awesome as all you jmods think, you shouldnt already have to put something like this up to encourage players to stay, eoc should be "so cool" that people would be flocking too it, clearly not the case
once again, the eoc is just a fail and clearly not what players want

You want ignorance try looking into the mirror. I was only stating my opinion that bank boosters aren't that great. Sorry if you happen to disagree with that.
Last time I checked, this is not a thread for attacking EOC so save it or take it somewhere else. No one really cares at this point, the update is coming whether you like it or not.

The general rule in rl sales is that when items are put at clearance prices they are or will be soon obsolete. How ***derful, because I have the Aegis, wonder what's going to happen to it's effectiveness. I'm ticked because I have been saving for the bank space boosters, I do all around skilling, as well, and I keep a lot of stuff. I don't just throw things out and I always find that some update or other eventually requires what I already have. Don't get me wrong, I am appreciative of the pendants, but they take up so much space, and now with the renewal thingies being added to the squeal, they won't even be destroyed after discharging. Have I asked for some kind of jewelry box? Yes I have. Have we gotten it? No we have not. Have I been patiently waiting for bank boosters? Yes I have. I thought "oh they have to do some major adjustments to the programming that's why those trackers have been on discount for so long", but now this tells me it can be done but is deliberately being held off so that we will become desperate to buy them from solomon's store. Frankly, this is dirty because even the pendants from squeal has now been changed so that bank space is used up twice as much. Now there is a need for a slot for the recharges as well as the pendant that has not been fully discharged. Great!
It became obvious that Jagex is hurting for money when they made outfits in solomon's store that would literally cost $50 dollars in real money to obtain. But, I let it pass and said I will not pay $50 for a graphic. But it is becoming brazenly obvious that Jagex is pulling every angle they can to obtain money.
I would bet anyone inventory space is in the plans soon but only IN SOLOMONS STORE, and since inventory space is something people have begged for years, it will come at a hefty price.
Did anyone notice that the emote that should have been a halloween reward was on the squeal? I didn't even do the halloween event. Monk's robes, really? Very lame.

When I first starting playing in 2008 (I think), players only had to pay for a membership. That was when I was thrilled to just play the game, even though (and this is still pretty true) I wasn't very good at it. The start of your downfall was when the Squeal of Fortune came out (maybe it was the lodestones, but whatever one came first). At first I completely supported it, then gradually I began to dislike it. The lodestones made the game too easy. That took almost the entire purpose of getting the fairy rings, lunar/ancient spellbook, mine carts, and other means of transportation completely meaningless. The Squeal of Fortune made xp and cash too easy to get. But nonetheless, I persisted and continued playing. Then the Solomon's General Store was released. I honestly hated that update. It was a meaningless way to generate as much money as possible. When that update was released there was a comment that said something to the effect of, "Jagex is suiciding Runescape and this is just a way to generate as much money as they can before the game dies."
That leads me into my final statement. I personally believe the comment above and the release of the EOC is supposed to be the final devastating blow to push Runescape over the edge of destrcution. The discount prices on the Loyalty shop is so players either subscribe or resubscribe to Runescape to keep the EOC alive, even if only temperarily.
Thank you for reading this,

*You might notice I didn't credit the LS to the downfall until recently, and that is because I think that it was actually a great idea. Paying players should recive a reward for being consistant.

I must say that I find it all well and good to put a sale on. But I am disappointed with the lack of notice. We only get so many points a month, not near enough to buy a top tier aura even at 25% off. But I would have purchased some stuff in a different order if I had known about this sale a month ago. Also I do think the sale should be long enough that all members get new points in the time between the announcement and the end of the sale.
