Sad, just sad. But, then they did finally put make x on the lanterns in the houses after a year or so of requests, but they made it 3x as slow to make as it originally was. Dirty, dirty, dirty tactics. They're pulling out all the stops.

If it was possible to somehow merge the Loyalty Program with Solomon's Store and maybe get runecoins instead of loyalty points I don't think that would be a bad idea. The concept that you get something every month is good and promotes long-term membership.
I am not against Solomon's Store mainly because as of now none of the things you can purchase there really give the player an unfair advantage; they are items just for show and many people will buy these things therefore bringing in money (I don't say the same thing for Squeal of Fortune as this gives money/xp). It would be great though if loyalty points could be converted into runecoins or something to that effect, not sure if there are any plans for that.

In Aesop's Fable, the North Wind and the Sun fought for supremacy. Who won? The North Wind who tried to force the cloak off the traveller or the Sun who gently gave the traveller the choice to make himself more comfortable by removing his cloak voluntarily?
RuneScape is supposed to be a free-to-play game. If you change it to forced-to-pay and still call it f2p guess what the end result will be?
I think at a certain point there should be some benefits for loyal players to get stuff from the cash shop(s) but seriously LOYALTY should be either determined by total time played and/or total payment and under no circumstances whatsoever should those players who don't let their subscription lapse be more loyal than those who play and pay more.

typical jagex stunt folks, pull something like this 50% off junk and 25% off aura's just to keep people from canceling memberships on the 20th at the eoc launch, but we can all **** jagex, why not jack everything we can from the loyalty shop with the points we have, then just cancel memberships before they renew anyway? i mean we'd still be signed up to the programme when the discounts happen, so if your tired of gettin screwed by jagex, why not ***** them with their own discounts? abuse it and if you dont want to play the eoc cancel your membership on them.
jagex HAS NOTHING on alot of the other mmorpgs out there, and on the 20th they turn runescape into just another mmorpg. with the same action bar as 99% of them, ohhh put abilities on your bar and faceroll your keys to fight isnt this exciting? no its not its an old and stale concept put out over 10 years ago.

BUT THE MORE IMPORTANT THING... HAS ANYONE ACTUALLY LOOKED FROM PAGE 1 ON? HOW MANY MODS HAVE SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THIS UPDATE OR ABOUT PEOPLE QUESTIONS? NOT ONE MOD HAS POSTED ON THE BANK BOOSTER QUESTION ASKED BY SO MANY PEOPLE
Mod Pips "The loyalty shop sale starts next week, November 20th, when Evolution of Combat launches. "
only mod to post in 14 pages and thats all that was posted.... so heres a question
WHERE'S YOUR CUSTOMER SUPPORT JAGEX? WE CLEARLY HAVE QUESTIONS SO WHY THE HELL DONT YOU ANSWER THEM IF YOU EVEN GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS?
WHERE ARE THE BANK BOOSTERS? ONE OF YOUR MODS SAID A FEW WEEKS AGO YOU PEOPLE WERE RETHINKING THE LOYALTY SHOP AND ITS FUNCTION AND NOT TO EXPECT THE BOOSTERS ANY TIME SOON BUT YOU CAN PUT OUT NEW AURA'S AND DO THIS UPDATE TOO IT.
JUST GET ONE OF YOUR MODS TO ANSWER EVERYONES DAMN QUESTION
WHERE ARE THE BANK BOOSTERS YOU SAID WOULD BE IN THE SHOP "IN A FEW WEEKS" AT THE END OF AUGUST?
WE HAVE RIGHTS AS CONSUMERS. AND YOU ARE ABUSING US.

i honestly do not remember the last time they brought out anything with the members loyalty program.
members loyalty program.... its a fine way of showing how much you value your customers loyalty by leaving a content dedicated to them to decay due to lack of use, i guess loyalty means nothing to those at jagex who would rather make a quick buck instead of rewarding loyal customers.
wakey wakey, hand off the snakey jagex!
