ok so if we buy a 30 day member card we get the mask i am already a member have been for about a year and a half do we get the mask for being a member or what cus i am going to be mad if i dont get the mask for already being a member

Just wanted to post and say that I am glad to see you are allowing F2P access to the mask. As the original announcement didn't specify membership was required to wear it, just redemption of a pre-paid card, it was unfair that they couldn't before.
Kudos for doing the right thing, Jagex.
I think it's ugly, but that's just my opinion ;)

I live in toronto canada I went to 3 wallmarts, phoned ebgames store, and 2 7-eleven stores none of them have received the red runescape cards. What kind of promotion is this when on the 20th of the month they still don't have the cards for it? only 11 days left where should i try now??

I really dislike the option that only people who buy pre-paid cards receive the scarecrow mask. This has been the option for quite a few extra nifty items such as the katana way back when and the flaming skull.
As a reoccurring member that pays by credit card this comes as a disappointment to me. As i buy membership every single month and I have been a member for more than 5 years when accumulated. I believe these items should be available to those who keep our dedication to Runescape membership and continue to support you by buying it but do it in the more convenient way such as using a Credit Card.
Please consider how you would feel if you did not receive items because you do not buy cards but buy membership online.
What is the difference between those who continue to be a member and those who buy the physical cards?

So since I signed up for 6 month payment, recurrent... just a couple of weeks before this offer comes out... plus purchased runecoin just before this was announced... I have to also buy a card.
Thanks for not recognizing your members with automatic membership payment.
I would have expected this promotion to be awarded to all members with recurrent payment plans.
BTW... the Sept 2012 date under my picture does not represent when this account was created. Just when I started playing again after appx 1.5 year break.

i dont mean to be rude but runescape is becoming too much about money....seriously we have to pay for a scarecrow mask? and please dont even get me started on how soo many things are limited to non members that i beleive shouldnt be....i understand you guys have to make money for the furtherance of your company, but seriously some things just shouldnt be for members only
