I understand the use of these pre-paid cards to get items benefiting retailers and sales and all that, and i myself have done this to obtain the flaming skull last time, but the simple fact is, most players use credit cards to pay for membership, as it is much simpler and less problematic. in my own experience, the only time a pre-paid card is used, its because my parents wouldn't allow me to use that method, as i dont have a credit card myself (though i am working on finding a job so i can open an account and GET one). my point is, these items benefit only the minority of the people who purchase members. I'm not going to say what, but you, jagex, do need to find some way of giving similar benefits to members who pay by credit card, both out of fairness, and the unrest i see up and down this entire forum.

I completely dislike that you can pay money for Squeal spins, but I like the idea of randomly an item with the cards, you do pay extra for some reason for them and it's the only way I can do it. I got the barbed bow, flaming skull, and hopefully soon I can get the scarecrow mask thing, I don't know why people would cry and complain about them giving a free item to those who are going to buy a card, and even if someone JUST bought membership 5 days ago, if you buy a card it adds on, as in if you bought a 90 day card, in ~90 days you're going to buy one anyway, it just means in ~180 days you have to get one, makes it longer. I don't see any problem with that, but I really don't like the ability to pay money for squeal spins, not only is it against their own rules but it also encourages gambling. (Also people under 18 get them, which is also still gambling underage)

FAIL. I cannot begin to describe how big of a fail this pre-paid crap is. Completely not fair at all to us long term members. No wonder why people quit. I think it's about time you actually listen to your community, Jagex. Part of being successful is listening to those who support you, by making your community happy means they want to play the game and continue paying for membership. Not putting them down by making idiotic giveaways like this. So far the first few pages of this forum are full of hate, clearly they are not satisfied, either am I. *cough* LISTEN TO YOUR COMMUNITY *cough*

@x7 LUCKY 7x I have been playing for over 6 years, and a member for 4ish maybe, and for a long time I've been using prepaid cards, even if it costs a little more it's a lot easier. People who use the cards get a small bonus item, there's nothing wrong with that seeing how they cost a few dollars more, they aren't saying "Here's a limited edition item, you have to spend more to get it" they're saying "For those who paid for money for cards, here's an additional item" Nothing is wrong with that

I'm seeing a new pattern here with Jagex...it seems they've taken a page out of the Zinga play book who own such online games as "Mafia Wars" "pay extra if you want extra goodies". It seems as tho the monthly subscribers who pay by credit card must now take a back seat to the promotion gimmicks of a guaranteed 3 month membership, paid in advance mind you. I've been playing for over 6 years now...but if this trend continues my money may be better spent else where!

I would like to buy one of these cards and get the mask, but there hasn't been any of the cards in Finland for the past 4 months. Is there anything you can do about this?
