wow i love how reocuring members don't get squat reguardless of how long they have been signed up for reocuring payments.

the game has been targeting those who can afford to spend money in stores re warding them for spending a lup sum all at once. the fairness in this is unreasonable, not every one can afford to spend 30-50 dollars at once on a game, to purchas a 90 day membership
the person who buys a 90 day card in the store is no different than a person that has been a reocuring member for 90 days. so my question is this, why don,t equal rewards exist? because i cant afford to buy all at once?

So many people are saying they been a recuring member for ages yet the date under their name says otherwise... People saying "I have been recuring member for over 7 years" looks under name 2012. Makes me lol
Personaly i find this whole mask to be ugly and doesnt appeal to me at all but i don't like it because its trying to get more money out of customers..
Flaming skull = ugly. Scarecrow mask = ugly. Green skin = just ew. Kanta being only one I personaly found good but never got as i am a reccuring member.
I hate the Sof and SGS type updates they are getting updated way too much instead of acctual content which the game needs.. Where is all the new quests? all the new ones been redos of old quests and have all been for low lvls.. Continue with the quest lines active please.. I want to continue with elven quests, morytania or mahjarrat quests...
The only other content other then microtransactions have been the graphic reworks which are all terrible... What are your employees smoking Jagex. Like honestly do you think our characters look better? Can barely look at it anymore.
I have to admit i like SGS items and I have spent extra there for costumes and a teleport animation because I really wanted them but i still don't agree with them being sold should come in with membership even if it means raising membership a little. Really good idea the costumes going over armour but can you not make the costumes from loyalty program work in the same way though so they are cosmetic but so can look like that in combat... Also I thought would be good if our default clothes would act the same as SGS clothes and cover our armours if we wanted them too.

Its people like you which give us hating the updates a bad name... Going back in time isnt the answer the game needs to move forward not backwards. I personaly hate a lot of the new updates Jagex are releasing lately but so many saying bring back 2006 runescape makes it hard for Jagex to take their customers seriously... Makes Jagex think they are just customers who hate change their arguments are not valid or worth reading...

Well, I read through page 12..... Then skipped to page 46... Jagex, I started playing rs in 2003, around 2008 I took a 4yr break due to a very busy life. I returned nearly 3 months ago and am enjoying many of the updates you have put in.
People are complaining about alot of issues that have little to do with this thread, such as micro transactions, other updates etc. Though I have a strong opinion about those they are not the issue here.
The issue here is the requirement of purchasing a game card in order to get the content. Everyone is yelling "unfair" and "epic fail". Your loyal customers (I saw some with membership dates pre 2004) are unhappy that they get slighted. To say to a faithful customer, just go out and buy a card and you can have it is a slap in the face!
Having only returned a couple months ago my input may mean very little to you, but if keeping people here longer is your goal why not set it up as a temporary item given to all members (if they take the time to go retrieve it in game) and IF those members remain members past a certain point they could then keep it.
The hard part about this entire debate is that it seems its happened several times before and that those of you running JAGEX just don't care... For now, I will continue to play, and pay to do so... But I may lose all faith in your ability to maintain customer satisfaction to the point I walk away...
I don't even want the mask, the the opportunity to make the choice. Last tidbit, I live in a rural community, if I wanted one of these I would have to drive 3 hours to get a card just to have it.
