I am not going to complain about this. I think it's a nice incentive, and if I had the option, I'd be paying with game cards as well.... The important words here being IF I had the option...

Yeah, I don't see South East Asia anywhere here.

Is this because none of the larger shops wanted to sell your cards, you know, in any Asian country, or is it just because your Asian, and possibly South African (That's not listed either) player base is not large enough to warrant selling those cards here?

I would love to pay with these cards and free up some money on my CC that could be spent elsewhere.

I don't understand why some of you feel that if people pay via game cards, that that's not recurring membership. I have a recurring membership. I used to pay by credit card. The last few years though, I have been paying through game cards. It's still recurring membership. "Recurring" doesn't have anything to do with the method you choose to pay, it has to do with how long you have paid for membership without letting it lapse.

You have got to be kidding me. The 11th-31st redemption, who came up with that?
I bought and redeemed both a $25 and a $10 US Wal-Mart Cards, of the newer variety.
Sad thing is I bought and redeemed both of them around the 1st I think.
Who came up with these dates and why not the entire month of October?
So in essence I have to go out and Buy yet ANOTHER $25 card this month if I want a mask. That surely will not happen.
Edit: I went back and checked, redeemed em on 29th September. So I'm out either way on this.

what about the ppl who pay 6 month like me with credit card... i think u should also give incentive to those ppl who buy membership with different payment method. and also u should implement those card in asia, asian countries also have 7-eleven and many other stores that u could probably sell this kind of membership card.

Went to 3 different retailers that sells Runescape cards, none have the RED game cards.

Still hate this way of introducting items into the game.
It is still grossly unfair.
Looking good/unique has been made pay-to-win in Runescape.

hey JAGEX, it is still not too late to fix this. Please give paying members over October the mask. I am still disappointed over the Dragon Ceremonial debacle.

At the very least, make the mask (and dragon ceremonial and royal) buy-able in Solomon's store for those that were/are members during the promotion period. Gives us a chance.
Don't put one off items on the SOF, don't have deals where people cannot access the cards, don't be unfair to the people who pay your wages...you need to set priorities. I can see that there may be some sort of resentment happening to make customer satisfaction at the bottom of the heap as you guys do get a lot of hassling.
You need to think more about the possibilities of how your members will be affected in future updates and content. You need a team of people to hold polls to see what people want and what they think, to actually note them on the forums so people can see that you are acknowledging them. I know you cannot please everybody but you can include everybody and have options. Use the forums to your advantage.
I want to help and I do respect you guys but these seemingly small incidents do and will have negative repercussions.

I'm a huge fan of cosmetic/holiday items on Runescape but I think this is totally unfair that items are starting to become obtainable only by paying with cash. I for one am on a tight budget and am not willing to pay $30.00 for a scarecrow mask. I'm quite dissapointed.
