From what I remember, jagex became a great game OUT OF SOMEONE'S BASEMENT. You don't need heaps and heaps of money to make a great game, you need QUALITY CONTENT.
From what I've seen the only content updates that we've gotten are for micro transactions and that sizzling summer scam to try and get people to stay a member for as long as possible after the EOC comes out.
I'm disapointed in Jagex as a company. Justifying RWT by saying "it's for the betterment of the game" is just the beginning of a wave of compromises that are sure to follow.
You're asking for my feedback?
Differentiate yourselves from the competition from being a truly micro transaction free company instead of pretending to be. And seriously, scrap the EOC from what i've seen so far, many people have quit because of it and are continuing to quit.
So far 2012 for Runescape has been a horrible joke for me. If it wasn't for my friends in my clan chat I would already be gone as well.

Thanks MMG and JMods, keep up the good work! This game has had so many massive improvements since I started playing!
The bots are what frustrate me the most, Nuke them all and keep the game fair.
Maybe if there were no non-revenue (f2p) accounts, there would be better control and validation, removing the spammers and gold sellers.

Since Jagex seems to hate facing direct statements and questions about their contradictions of their own promises and their terrible "updates" *cough SOF *cough* I'll attempt to phrase my impression of it in a law metaphor.
As with all online games, it is the players who must decide whether or not they like the direction the game is heading and the updates it produces. In this respect, the players are like a jury and the game company is the defendant.
Now, imagine a person is convicted of murder and goes to court. They take the stand to give their testimony and say, "Yes, i did kill that person. But you see that guy over there? He killed 10 people so I'm not nearly as bad. You shouldn't punish me at all because that guy over there is worse." Do you think the jury is going to acquit them? Of course not. They are still guilty regardless of what anyone else has done.
This is essentially what Jagex has done with this post. They have murdered their own rules and promises with SoF and the selling of gold and xp. Now when they are "convicted" if you will, by the players they are standing there saying, "Yea, but you see those RWT and gold farming bots over there? They're doing it on a huge scale so you shouldn't be mad at us. Why shouldn't we make some money off it too?" Though of course they dont even have the decency to actually admit that they are doing it.
The only unfortunate part of this whole scenario is that some people are actually oblivious enough to think that all will be right with the world just because Jagex has made a news post about it and over the past few years it seems that Jagex caters to these ignorant people more and more.
TO ALL JAGEX MODS WHO READ THIS: There are still some of us left who are actually intelligent and can think for ourselves. You are not fooling us with more false promises that everything will be perfect. And if this sudden desire to make complete fools of yourselves by contradicting your own rules and policies has been brought

But it is true.. okay maybe JaGex has lied a few times but give it a rest we are the people who are making JaGex feel like ****.. now if we don't support them then they'll end up closing RuneScape and that's a road we don't want to take now if you don't want that to happen stop complaining like little children and start supporting them there's always another day and in that other day something good can happen as in JaGex listening to us and changing some **** even if they said ''We will not remove sof/sgs from Runescape'' it dosen't mean they'll keep that promise.
- If someone said JaGex I'll give you *1,000,000,000 to remove sof/sgs ofc they'll remove it it's not a ''promise'' that JaGex will keep.. in the future JaGex will change alot of things to our liking.. maybe they don't have the money yet to make our game RuneScape extrodinary so they're using us to pay for sof/sgs it's going to help us in the future and something as little as $3.00 wont hurt you.. so I don't know why you're complaining.
EDIT: I'm not telling you to pay for sof/sgs but I'm just stating a point but still if you want the game to develop go ahead. .
- The Sof/Sgs income is going into development of in-game updates such as fun and amazing content so don't keep on saying I hate JaGex because they dont give us in-game fun content.

JAGEX READ I GOT A SOLUTION! YOU KNOW THAT MECHSCAPE STELLAR DAWN GAME? START CREATING THAT GAME AND MAKE MONEY OFF THAT SO IN THAT WAY YOU MAKE MONEY FOR RUNESCAPE AND THE COMMUNITY IS STILL HAPPY BUT IF YOU DO THIS YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE SOF/SGS IF YOU READ THIS WHAT I SAID AND YOU DO GO IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF STELLAR DAWN AND MAKE MONEY OFF THAT BUT DONT REMOVE SOF/SGS I WILL HATE YOU FOREVER.
