Thank you for this explanation. Now I know why there is this much money needed, and where it has been used for (and still is). I don't like SGS and SOF not much now, but at least I understand why they are in game. (However, compared to a few years ago, the game has been changed completely, but not all changes are bad).
Thanks,

I can't keep up with this thread.
Anyway, Jagex have made a mistake, we all know. They are stubborn sods lol.
Glad about the bot stuff though, and until we know otherwise this post is good news.
Get rid of buy-able spins and I'll be happy.
will runescape ever be micro transaction free? Please mod steve or mod pi tell me. I will only return to paying Jagex when they either make a 2006 server or end microtransactions.
Tworaf-----removal of the free trade and wilderness was the best decision jagex has made in the last 5 years, and the worst it ever made was bringing it back.
Say hello to gf bots....
Say hello to scammers.....
Say hello to hijackers.....
Say hello to gamblers.....
Say hello to tons of pointless antibot updates that crash servers....
Say hello to a worse rs.....
Break Yelps, that is a slight exaggeration. You're spending money on a game of chance: it's hardly "selling XP and gold".
Anyway, I am glad there has been at least some form of response to the current backlash against micro-payments. I think it is fair to say that whilst many of us are against such a thing, many of us will also continue to be long-term players. It would, however, be nice to have some form of Q&A session between players and JMods. There needs to be more direct communication between players and staff.
Too little,too late.
If it acts like a liar looks like a liar and has lied multiple times before,it's a liar.
And to the idiot creeps jumping up and down that they promised not to sell exp and gold.....they're already doing it ,are you fully wired up?
