Just as long as you removed the squeal of fortune i think it'd be fine, i support solomons general store because you actually get something that you want from your transaction, however solomons is a complete scam.
I have never checked the prices for spins but i imagine they are around 50p each or more, for 50p you could get 1k...you can make that in a minute in game.
I'd prefer you to remove the squeal of fortune entirely but you need to improve the "junk" drops for it to be worthwhile to me.
This is my opinion I won't be replying to any trollers.

We naturally take extreme care when introducing significant changes to its gameplay.

Pfft nice joke. You're completely changing the combat system which is a core aspect of the game without a simple poll to see what players want. It may be your game but it's also ours and a vast number of people don't want the update.

I don't have much to say other than we've heard it said before that Jagex wouldn't do something only to later turn around and do it.
I will be happy when the bots and ad bots are taken out, but I do hope it lasts longer than before.
For now, the only thing that put a smile on my face was seeing Mod Zach post . :)

I am once again, proud to be a part of this community. Mod MMG, this is a beautiful thing to see on the home page. I feel like it was a little over due, but the communication is much appreciated.
<3
Just remember- if you do sell items/gp, you will ruin the integrity of the game. Careful.
Looking forward to HTML5.

Well, all I can say about this is that you don't completely ignore our complaints, but it doesn't really change my thoughts and I will never pay for something else then my membership...
Ofcourse I know that you need to make money to give your doubled amount of employees their salary each month with less memberships (bot nukes), but I doubt that those micro - payments are really helping because of two reasons: you only have to pay them once and you are hiring some extra employees (who also need a salary) to make this store possible. You could deduce this out of this quote coming from the 'Solomon's General Store FAQ'.
"Why are you charging for items?
The new Customisation System requires a lot more development effort per item, and we're also taking longer when making the content to make sure it's extra special. By charging for the items themselves it means we don't pass on these costs on to those who aren't interested in using them."
The last part of the quote is nonsense by the way, if someone is a pure and doesn't use defence for example, he doesn't also pay less membership or something like that...
If you are really running short on money and you guys think the normal membership payments aren't enough anymore, just charge us (a little bit) more...
Oh, and also, thank you, looking forward to the next months!

SoF = gambling for children.
Online gambling for kids is new and that's the only reason your gambling is working, you are skipping one step ahead of the law.
Disgusting behaviour.
No update glosses over that, not even HTML5 glossies gloss over your petty moneymaking.

Really nice to hear about this, thanks!
I'm sure you put a lot of nervous players' minds at rest when you confirmed you won't sell gold or accounts.
Sorry to hear you guys lost so much money when you nuked, but it truly shows you care more about the quality of the game than the money.
The HTML's look interesting, but I myself prefer the old-fashioned Java-based form.
Regarding the Jagex Account Guardian, would we have to sign up for it? Whether we would or not, would it present any risks like it mistaking you for a hacker of anything like that? I would really hate to sign up for it, then get locked out of my account because it thought I was trying to hack myself :P
Again, really happy to see positive news like this.
Did anyone else try counting the differences in the Java picture and the HTML one? :P

Thanks for the announcement.
The way I read this is that the SoF and Solomon basically ensure Jagex has enough funding for improving customer support, account security, and game updates/platform expansion.
I look forward to seeing these updates (particularly the Account Guardian, sounds really interesting!).
