The xp lamps on SoF DO NOT give little xp.
I have witnessed someone getting about 700k agility xp in 44 minutes by spinning with SoF. Thats a full 92-93 agility, and if continued averages almost 1m xp PER HOUR in one of the slowest skills to train in the game... A day before the same person got 556k agility xp in under 2 hours.
If a player trains agility legit, its at the very best 50-60k xp/h without boosts. So theres your "SoF doesnt give an unfair advantage".
I seriously hate you for selling xp, lvls and gp. Whatever you say about SoF, it is RWT and it does in effect sell xp and gp, thats what many players use it for. :|
You can surpass the xp rate of most if not all skills with SoF, and some players evidently do have the money and will to "train" like that.
IN-GAME achievments should be determined by what you do IN-GAME, not by giving you REAL-WORLD money and standing at bank opening xp lamps.
Same goes for the horrible sizzling summer 1m+ xp bribery giveaway. It disgusts me youre willing to devalue every players in-game efforts by letting players buy up to millions of xp/gp from SoF and giving players 1m+ xp just for paying you for certain two months straight.
It makes me not want to play this game seriously ever again. My main is a 9-10 years old character with max cape but Ive been f2p for a month because of all this. Im on a 14 day trial on this character now, atleast I didnt fund your SoF and Solomon updates ;) .
Solomon shop isnt as bad but I still find it unfair as theres no alternative ways of obtaining those items IN-GAME (again with the rwt... real-world money needed), and now with selling bank space its not even cosmetic anymore.
Next is probably buyable inventory space and custom teleports straight to bosses?
Glad I wont be there to see that...
Just delete SoF and real-world money buyable bank space. Id much rather have bots and bad graphics because developing the graphics and fighting bots just isnt worth having the game ruined with rwt...

Okay, while it IS reassuring to know that there are some lines that Jagex will not cross, rumor DOES have it that Jagex has been fighting with certain investors blamed for the decline of certain other games such as Maplestory to keep micro-payments from going out of hand the way they have in those other games.
Personally, I'm still opposed to having buyable spins in the Squeal of Fortune, as that turns SOF into gambling for pixels with real-world money. At least in casinos, you're betting money that you'll win more real-world money than you started with. But here, you're betting money that you'll win some pixellated item that doesn't really exist after only spending a small amount of real-world money. And when you lose, it only encourages you to spend more real-world money. And more ... and more ... and by the time you finally win what you desire, it's cost you a LOT financially.
Squeal of Fortune's buyable spins make it gambling. And that, I am afraid, is not acceptable. I have never spent any money on spins, and never will. But for me, it's not the money -- it's the principle of the thing. Betting real-world money on the chance of winning pixels should NOT be encouraged.

We will shut up when they remove SoF. How about that? They admitted they want the money for graphic updates and for really bad reasons that we don't care about.
Now we are educated as to what they want the money for, we the players decided we still don't want sof.
We won't shut up because we are right.

Everyone having an even chance with the Squeal of Fortune wouldn't be so bad. But, the fact is, you can buy additional spins. You can buy as many as you can afford. Thus, giving you an unfair advantage over another player who can't afford to spend money as frivolously.
Cosmetic items? No big deal. But, we can't have people receiving gold and experience just because they spent enough money on it. That's not fair. I feel there's a healthy medium, somewhere in between what the naysayers want and what Jagex wants, that will leave both parties satisfied.
