MOD MMG on Micro-Payments

I read through the whole wall of text and I found it hilarious. You guys say you brought in micro-payments into the game because you want to create and make runescape better. Well as you said runescape was without any kind of micro-payments for 11 years and it was doing just fine. So why the sudden need to gain money? Well, I, having played several mmorpgs better than runescape, which all in the end turned to making money only and no content, know very well where runescape is going. They used the same excuse as you are now and I for one won't be falling for it. You people are getting more than enough money from the monthly fees from all the members, and still we have to charge money for content we have a right to for being a member? What a slap in the face.

My point was that many many years ago, Jagex released a post stating that they sacrificed the potential profits that micro transactions could bring to the company in favour of the game's integrity, yet here we are.
However, the post I refer to is a decade old, and it's unrealistic to expect things not to change in such a long time, so I will hope that this post will remain true.
