Is Runescape the only part of Jagex turning a profit?
Just wondering if other ventures in the future will make some money- so maybe you can let Runescape be Runescape.
Micros were bad enough but micros + EoC going live... idk what to think. I've played rs a long long time. I think there were like 7 member servers. I don't think Jagex would keep the game open for 7 members servers these days.
There is little to no interest EoC beta-so even if i was tempted to buy a cat suit to generate some cash for you (sorry I am not a furry) I dont know how long rs will be around. :(

Until you got to that last statement, I thought you might have had a point. I doubt that many players have bought spins. Spins are an annoyance to most players. Nonetheless, the few gambling addicts and fools who spend a fortune on it probably balance out the players who have quit because of it and the preponderance of bots in the game.

First off... Great job on the new water. Sand, transparency, cat-tails, and reflective-ness... It's beautiful.
Secondly (and probably more importantly) I hate squeal too. Even if you couldn't buy spins, squeal randomizes too much of the game.
Pluss it's easy to get spins without paying for them anyways... several people have told me that they make money by doing squeal every day with each of their Fifty-seven-cozillion, or so, accounts. I miss back when people said mining when I asked them how they got so rich...
Oh and popups too... The one that says BECOME A MEMBER to free-to-play players every time they click members stuff... THOSE are really annoying. At least just put the message in the chat-box or something...
Well, that's about all I had to say.
