I don't see why you ban players for bug abusing. I know its in your rules that your not allowed to give yourself an unfair advantage in anyway. However, i think that this is unfair because you are banning people on the fact that you have an error in the coding of your game. Banning people who have abused a glitch due to your coding errors in my eyes, is unfair...

I think it is important to note that the Wall of Shame violators committed multiple repeated violations of the Rules of RuneScape.
- Real-World Trading: For Trading GPs and RS items (selling blue party hats)
- Knowingly Exploiting A Bug: Also, Failure to Submit a Bug Report
- Encouraging Others To Break The Rules: By Posting Online Videos
Therefore, if a player exploited the bug 1000 times, performed 100 real world trades and posted 10 online videos, they would have committed 1,110 violations.
As for the botters, it is very likely that the "new way of analysing data" is analyzing us right now. Can't wait to see that list of players.

i'm happy to see jagex doing this. and i have a message to anyone who might be reading this that cheats in rs:Whats the point? if you cheat then sure you get a lot of stuff but you will get bored because you will have nothing to work for! and for any botters, you arent happy when you finnally get a skill to 99 because you didnt work for it!!! you didnt do anything to get to that goal! all you did was go to some website and pay for a bot.

they didnt ban these people who used this bug, they said that thay gave them the benifit of the doubt and just took what they proffited away from them, maybe you should read more carefully, beacuase they even said in their forum that they might have stumbled onto it.

Now these are the kind of news reports I like -- proof that Jagex is doing something! Please, make a "banned bots Hall of Shame" and list regularly bots that have been banned even if it looks like this:
-dhkhskjf23bdjs (96 wcing)
-fhdjksahlf 7777 (120 cb)
-Hello 179972 (99 rcing)
At least we would know something is being done!
