A few billion wouldn't crash and burn the economy, sure if they let the bug get exploited further then yeah it would have an effect.
You guys are also idiots if you think that jagex can 'just ban' botters without greatly impacting the game for real players - considering how many bot developers there are, vs jagex, not to mention the formalities and processes that jagex need to go through before doing anything about bots make it so that as soon as they release a counter measure to botting, there's 4 bot-fixes or replacements.
SOF or solomon's, I do not support. I would think it pretty obvious the majority of these players were cheating anyway, I mean, look at their total lvls!! Rs completed, for example, is maxed in under one year... sorry, I do not think that is credible. The only players I know who are maxed have been playing, and playing quite hard I might add, well in excess of 5 years.
The rules are quite clear and should be adhered to. Bots especially harm skillers and any botting account should be deleted, no exceptions.

Lol, a lot of that money got transferred anyway. If you did this non-stop for an hour you earned 100B cash. Which is 40 000 bucks :P . Earning a big car in an hour.. That doesn't sound bad? Too bad jagex fails so hard. They should've done a complete rollback for something like this.

samething i was thinking theres videos on web showing how these people dont care that they got banned, they sold all that gp that was gainned anyway.
so that player "rs completed" might have got banned but also probably got 30k rl cash from rwting the glitched cash.
