Yes ban legit players that abuse a bug that's there (for a second time!) by your own mistake while:
- We still have tons of bots
- You add stuff like SoF
- The game is dying out as it is
Good going. Roll them back & give them warning points or whatever they are called. They are the community. Many players (like me) only still play because of the community. I'd rather have them making money because you guys mess up than losing them from the community.
P.S.: I don't know any of them, it's just an opinion.

Every cheat no matter if it is bug abuser, bot, or whatever hurts us all either directly or indirectly. I applaud all efforts to remove unfair players from the game.
This is the direction I want to see more of in dealing with cheaters. The list of names is great. (not the heads on pikes I hoped for but great)
I hope against hope that Jagex somehow develop an effective ongoing system to remove bots from the game. I still think that a trained / regimented large group of players could do this fairly if given the tools and requirements of bot verification needed.
