The banned players were named and shamed by account names, nothing personal towards the actual persons. These players abused a bug/glitch to gain unfairly and have been banned, named and shamed and quite rightly so! It is common knowledge to players that if you abuse and/or exploit a bug, you are risking an automatic ban. Maybe you should rant at those players not reading the rules thoroughly, when you sign up for an account you are automatically agreeing to these rules. Anyone risking to break these are putting their account at risk.

That's so pathetic you ban a maxed player with about 2 years worth of gameplay for using the game in a way that was possible because of your mess up. Why is this company always out to ***** their players over? Can you answer this question MR. Clough, or any other employee responsible for these decisions that basically steal from players? With all due respect it seems that you are purposely trying to extort players by some means one way or another. You don't seem to mind when the economy was altered due to massive amounts of players losing their banks to a glitch, yet your on a witchhunt now for whoever profited from a glitch?
It's just so disgraceful idk why people still give this company money. They will ***** you over next.

Why would people sympathize with the cheaters (unless they themselves are cheaters). It's clear that bug abuse is not allowed in the rules. And it wasn't like these players were going 70 in a 60 mph, some were generating 10s of billions of rs gold an hour and selling it rwt (also not allowed). Their actions would impact all players as the massive influx of money would flood the market, crashing prices.
Jagex is actually fair (probably more than it needs to be) when doling out punishments. They knowingly broke 2 rules on a massive scale to the detriment of others directly (devaluing money) and indirectly (provides an unfair advantage to a select group of players) .
Yes, I would love to see the bots gone (similar to the few weeks after bot nukem). But just because you cannot punish all the rule breakers, obviously, doesn't mean you should punish none of them.

I was researching this glitch and I came across the people named that were banned they have a youtube account called "haxunit" which I found from tip.it they show the post you guys made showing their accounts being banned such as "zeke" shows your post showing him banned but he still logged on his account and showed us loads of phats and max cash in bank and pouch could i please get an explanation as i dont like seeing this its not cool

Actually you may say its fake and its true I also thought it may be fake but it can't be fake if you see him go on the page showing hes banned and then he logs on rs with a small window open still showing the page and then showing us that he isnt banned he even showed he gained 3 purple phats 2 yellow and 6 sets of max cash in ge and 1 in bank invy and pouch totaling to 16b in pure gold

talking of rule breaking i think selling gold is breaking rules and i think using bots is against the rule the is absolute BS to be honest i couldnt care less about a few players who did a little bit of a glitch.
yes get rid of them thats fine but stop being so narrow minded and let the bots and gold sellers play on.
its one rule for every one not 9one rule for one and another rule for others)
i wish there was a phone line to these game people so i could just shout down the line GET RID OF THE BOTS.
its amazing how fast they acted against these ppl but they do nothing about the others.
yes of course they are doing stuff behind the scenes and thats fair enough but at the same time, some bot are so obvious im sure they could get Pmods or J mods to go to theses places such as green drags or grot worms and black demons etc etc and just ban them straight away.

I was kind of worried seeing this because I think I have encountered this bug : [ (did I?) A while back when I deposited money in the money pouch at the GE (usually just 1k as a buffer) I'd end up with a few thousand more gp (between 4k-5k) almost 30 minutes later even though I didn't collect or deposit any more coins whatsoever. It happened about 3 times but I never bothered to think it was a bug since I'm usually so ADD.. Now after seeing this post... hmm.. ESPECIALLY that time when I would close the GE dialog box and suddenly run to the other side it was SUCH a pain and turned out to be a bug too! pfft I'm so slow -___-
