Don't be fooled by their short term action of reinforcing the rules set
for players.
Jagex is a company that will run Runescape as a means between two
extremes at the expense of the player experience. This means that they
will never truly solve any of the issues that plagues players playing
their games.
It means that botters will exist, cheaters will cheat, scammers will
scam, and luring will continue all at the expense of the player
experience. It is not in their best interest to solve the main issues.
Illegitimacy has infested this game for many years and how many accounts
will go unpunished and uncaught.
Take the experience from a player that first started playing nine years
ago and still sees the those same issues infesting this game. Take the
experience from a player that has given up everything earned in game for
standing up for what is right and better.
Take it from me. Otherwise you will see it for yourself in the future.
