Jagex, i'm usually not the one to respond to these updates. I usually just take it, and accept that there's nothing I can do to stop these updates from happening. The amount of actual enjoyable content being added versus the amount of horrible money-grabbing updates is just sickening. I've been hooked on the game for years. The game alone is what is keeping me here, NOT this pitiful nonsense released through the SoF and SGS. However, the game is losing appeal. The more you tack on free experience that isn't even earned, the less coveted reaching goals becomes. What's the point of producing content (such as skills) if they aren't even going to be participated in? Through developing more Squeal updates, you are destroying the real content this game has caught the attention of for so many people. Why do this? I wrote a poem to express my feelings even further:
Upon the Wings of a Smoldering Fate
In dusk the once fierce dragon soars,
The midday of strength shown no more,
What was once flame now falls to ember,
What was Raktuber now Wintember.
A slow descent without rise,
The fire fades within its eyes.
Cold and still becomes its flight,
No hope left to survive the night.
Farther down the dragon falls,
Very few hear its swan song calls,
Those who do, draw around,
Watching dark image dance to ground.
On it's side the beast does lay,
Squeals of anguish have given way,
Those nearby cry for help,
Nothing in return but petty Yelps.
Four types of people surround this beast,
Those who on-look for this feast,
Other souls who could not care,
And the final ones caught with despair.
There is one more type, alone in the crowd,
On one knee bent, quiet and bowed.
This one person is accepting death,
Living out the dragon's last breath.
All good things must come to an end,
Those like him have made amends,
Because upon the wings of time,
He'll crash and burn when he dies.
