This is a good update. I'd just like to ask if it will be possible in the future to let us buy each piece seperately from those outfits. We get 200 RuneCoins for free but an outfit is 216, I personally cannot afford to pay $4.99 at the moment to get those extra 16 RuneCoins for my desired outfit. :|

Lancashire, it may seem ridiculous to you, and it certainly does to me, I will never spend money like that to level up on this game.
But there are 450 spin packages for sale, and people are buying them.
The other issue is whether the fact that buying your way ahead isn't, in our opinion, value for money, somehow makes it right? Can it be ok if you only get 100k xp an hour and 1m gp by spending 100 dollars, but not ok if you can get 10m xp and 2000m gp in 10 minutes for 5 cents? Where between those two extremes do you draw the line?
In my opinion the only sensible, fair place to draw the line is to not let anyone buy their way ahead at any price. The same stance Jagex took for 10 years, so I can't be alone in thinking this way! :)

This is just like another loyalty shop... except there are mini transactions....
I look down on you and ashamed of this... I'm giving you 3 month... So far I've been disappointed with how cheap this game has become... all you want is our money now...

As much as I dislike this direction it's gone, You've made an outfit that caught my eye. Was a slap in the face that even with the member discount I get I'm still 16 runecoins off, uhg why? D: Jagex, you're going to make me go to walmart to buy a runecoin card aren't you? I've got to say, this is the first time you've really made me upset, in all the time I've beenplaying, I wasn't even mad when free trade was taken away.

Really not a good idea, micro transactions are NOT the way to go with Runescape, its going to end up another Farmville if they go down this route... As echoed by many others I think this is quite simply a sell out of the principles of the game, and does look like the new owners are just going for the easy path, with little real effort to increase revenue, rather than invest properly in content to attract more members.. But the result is I'm pretty sure only going to be short term revenue gain, long term revenue gain can only come from attracting more members, and that will only come from better and continuing growth of content such as the new Combat update..
